tbf, if we don't go up, one of the results to point to will have been failing to finish off a bunch of teenagers at Bolton. If we'd compounded that by failing to win the return at home, then it'd have just accentuated that.

This result shows trends of our season, both good and bad. A troubling inability to finish off the worse teams as we should, but a determination not to give up that sees a fair few late goals.

So tight at the top. Lots of posts on here a month ago were saying Oxford were certs to go up through the autos and now they're down in 10th. Big win for us today.

I think his passing was a bit sloppy towards the end due to tired legs. He deserves a rest and I’d hate for him to burn out because he’s a key player.

I think so too. I’ve been saying all season that we are chokers, and that Robins is just lucky. Bolton are essentially a pub team and the fact we didn’t score 5 just proves how poor we are.

Tell me, what are the bonus points these days for playing well?

Not making excuses but all three teams in our league who had big cup-ties in the week didn’t have the best of days today. Oxford who played really well against Newcastle and like us had extra time got a right bollocking today. Makes our late hard earned victory even sweeter.

We do need a better striker than the ones we have. However to still be up there without that luxury shows how good the squad is overall. I think the mentality of the squad wins us games which is a good thing. We don’t give up
