So which of you is going to find some kind of technical loophole- some missing dimension that wasn't taken into account, some particular weakness that the stats can't capture, some mystery injury that is holding him back- in order to prove that, yes, actually Godden is a waste of money and is underperforming?

Goes to show that we have good options.

Nobody is going to be banging in goals for fun in our team, we don't play like that, but none of our strikers have stats that are out of place in the overall league list.

And we also now know that Baka reads this forum. People start talking about Godden's great hair? Baka says "fuck you then, keyboard c*nts, check out my new look"

It’s long been my contention that the biggest factor in having a “20 a season” player is the style of play of the rest of the team. Our set up does not lead to strikers who score bucket loads. McNulty was a freak and after we’d switched to 442, his record elsewhere suggests he just hit a purple patch, whereas the records of strikers that have left us suggests they score more in other teams.

All our strikers are fine. None are shit. None are a level above. Just fine.

But still, some will soon be along with the "yeah buts"

Maybe the tactical genius that started this thread by questioning his worth would like to comment, or that well known aficionado of a footballer's ability, Earlsdon Sky Blue, who called him "shit". Or how about cc84cov, that master of striker assessments, who referred to him as "garbage"

Yeah i said he was garbage Tuesday night so what ? He was he’s been poor past 4-5 games

your trying to say I’ve said he’s garbage as in General he’s not i said he looks To be carrying or unfit and has been poor past 4-5 games if your gonna quote me do it properly Mr Ring-Piece

We spoke about this didn’t we in the match thread ? Let’s do it again just for you as said at the time his record speaks for itself at this level but he don’t look fit for what ever reason...I’m certain you agreed I can pull it but can’t be arsed it’s in the match thread.

In regards to studying the game More you are arguing the toss on playing Godden or what I think of him etc so you would keep playing a player who doesn’t look fit and is out of form ?
And your telling me to study the game ?

Too many people get caught up on stats I feel judge a player on his merit of a place in the side due to fitness & form gets my vote.

Let’s be real he’s out of form & struggling for What ever reason for Max & Baka looked good Tuesday let’s give them there chance to keep the shirt as Robins also likes to do with his players.

Next time you wanna quote me make sure it’s accurate mate you even agreed with me and got the gist of what was said for some reason your trying to get a little attention & likes quoting people,anyway 3 points tomorrow is the aim for us all if Godden plays I hope he’s sharp & gets back to scoring.

If keeping the same formarion with one up top for Bolton - which I hope we don't personally - then it's Godden for me for sure up top on own.

I don't think the other two are as effective as Godden up top on own - however if Robins decides to play two up top then think Baka and Biamou
work well together as a two so would start them.

I would like to go two up top at home to Bolton but not sure MR will risk it we will see - 3 points a must either way,

Re-accurance of his pubic bone problem! I think he has a similar injury that Allan had and has a muscle separation from the pubic wall area. I think it’s best he gets the rest he needs else he will get slaughtered on here and come the season end he will not be worth penny to any bugger
