Coventry considering improved Norwich bid for teenage ace

It’s one of their exclusives

What’s odd about this though is that I would presume it’s come from a journalist connected to Norwich but they’ve not actually reported the story themselves?

Up next at the telegraph 10 things we know about Norwich.

Incase anyones reading from them Telegraph here are a few to start you off

Norwich is in Norfolk

Colman's Mustard

3 million is hard for a club like us to turn away tbh, good offer for a lad midway through his first full season

I seriously doubt Robins will get any money, I'm happy enough for the money to cover losses and keep the club stable
Knowing us it will go through 2 mins before the window closes anyway so we won’t have chance to spend lol

We will need left back cover if he goes which he will

Bid accepted apparently

let’s hope Joy gives Robins some spending money for the promotion push,no shocked at all called it months back soon as he was put into the first team this was their aim sell in January. We have mason who is more than good enough to come in.

BOYCOTT THE CLUB, STARVE THEM OUT
WHY ARE WE SELLING PLAYERS???????

Thunts

I see the new one is why sell to a club we’ll be in the same league as next season. Of course we still have to get promoted and if we do end up in the same league I wonder which one would be more likely to go up and have a better future

The club who have been in the Premier League for 5 of the last 10 seasons playing in front of 25,000 with a huge budget

Or the club who have been in League 2 more recently than the Premier League playing in front of 6,000 fans in a stadium 20 miles away

Probably have if you change your opinion with the wind about everything.

Just seen a link on the other thread

Apparently £3m with or after add-ons (skim read the article as I’m at work) and he is to be loaned back to us... Would be a good deal and hopefully gives us room to do a deadline deal ourselves.

Great business with the loan back great opportunity now to get someone in who can make a difference when needed

I think it said £3mil + add ons + loan back. Too good to refuse I reckon. Although I hope we play hard ball, and hold out for more/take a gamble and not sell him now.
I’m also not convinced we need to add to the squad with that deal.

I think we have to take that offer really, if it's as reported - interesting to know what the exact breakdown of up front versus add-ons is mind. Personally don't think Robins will add to the squad, I doubt he'll have much of the transfer fee to work with, certainly not enough for us to be looking at a higher bracket of player that would really improve us. I'd have taken ending the window with the squad we started it with and if McCallum is loaned back then, to an extent, I'm pleased enough.

The artcle says 'could be worth in excess of £3m ' which to me suggests an inital fee with add ons to take it to that 3m figure. So maybe not as much as we hope for upfront.

Yes that’s what I thought, the Maddison fee was up to £8m wasn’t it in the press

I am not keen on the loan backs, if he does come back then let him be on the bench as cover.
