Don't think anyone will be coming in
Not sure about outgoings but I believe the club would prefer to keep all our best players if we can

Do you know which club has bid for McCallum? I'd guess Norwich, Villa or Burnley.

I’d say Norwich is the likeliest of them three. They’ve had a massive recruitment drive in their 23s and also signed the likes of Godfrey, Aarons, Lewis and of course Maddison from smaller clubs. Their latest big thing Adam Idah who scored a hat trick against PNE in the cup game came over from Ireland

They bought the lad Daniel Adshead from Rochdale too

A few baggies fans I work with seem to think they are strongly linked with McCallum due to a recommendation from Richard Stevens who's now there.

Even if we had the funds I'm not sure how a loan could come in as realistically they just wouldn't get the minutes. We're pretty much covered in every position. Difficult to get loan deals over the line these days for highly rated youngsters unless there's a guarantee that they will play on a regular basis. Case and point Sterling last season.

Anyone who came in would initially have to act as a deputy in the event of a player in their position getting injured or going off the boil. So, if Robins is looking for a player to fill that role he may as well look to snap someone up from non-league. Would probably cost less than a loan, they wouldn't mind being a fringe player and gives Robins a chance to dip into a different talent pool. Easier said than done as for every McCallum there's a Bosma but the same goes for loans really. For every Adam Armstrong there's a Josh Barrett.

Baka has featured as a sub a couple of times lately and contributed, so maybe Robins is happy to have him on that basis. Huwala is clearly in the exit door. It is in his interest to be gone as well as ours - wage bill.

We will probably sell Sam McCallum at 22.59 on deadline day giving us no time whatsoever to get a replacement in.
Similar to when we sold Maddison to Norwich (although we loaned him back).

Was it not all but confirmed by either Robins or Bobby last season that the agreement with Chelsea was that we had to play him regularly or pay his salary in full?

Think it was more your cat phrase of “case and point”.
