From a management perspective, you could say they want less sport talk because it wastes too much time in the office/factory/whatever. But if they want to ban any "non-work" talk, the same would go for kids, false nails, zumba, the menopause, etc.
As it is, it's a load of shite, and this woman should boil her head!

I thought it would be reference that, before reading the article.

Don't get why this shit gets blown up so much, some idiot from an institute nobody has heard of has said something the vast majority disagree with. Ignore her and get on with your life.

So the papers can get clicks from the PC gawn mad crowd getting all angry. Been the same model since baa baa nice sheep and personhole covers in the nineties and they’re still falling for it.

What a load of bollocks, we have women in our work that probably have more sport knowledge that most men! Massive stereotyping going on here!

Not me I just think she’s talking shite and surprised BBC would give it the time of day

Women commentators on Match of the Day are absolutely crap. That's a fact. They squeal when someone scores, or nearly scores.

How many times during Shrewsbury's game yesterday did we have

'Against not only the best team in the country but the world!'

'How do you find it without VAR?'

'Salop is the old name for Shrewsbury'

Or even more during Fulham's game

'Never easy going down to 10 men so early'

'The game is effectively won for Man City now'

Very few commentators do any more than state the bleeding obvious and recycle clichés. The female commentators' biggest mistake is to try and imitate it

One of my favourite football quotes was:
"What will the manager be telling them at half-time?"
"He'll be telling them there are 45 minutes left to play".

That’s why they do it. This culture war crap gets clicks from both sides. We need to all stop talking about it and it (and the bunch of free speech/SJW grifters) will hopefully disappear.

In an ideal world click bait should be outlawed under some kind of journalistic integrity grounds.
