Tomorrow at 1pm at the Higgs
Reckon not many 1st team fringe players will be involved as we have so many games coming up
Maybe one or two continuing return from injury but it will probably be a fairly young side

Might be a chance for the odd few to impress in the Jan window?

He played 18s last week and scored 2. At the moment Wakefield and Kastaneer are taking his place and neither look to have a future at the club...

Have you been to many 18's this season, any youngsters who are standing out and ones to look out for?

The majority of the games have been first years and U16s. The best players are in the 23s like Blaine Rowe (injured), Ngandu, Bapaga or out on loan like Tyler so they have been losing more than often not but a year or two difference at that age is massive

I would say the best prospect looks to be CM Ryan Howley who’s an U16 but has played Youth Cup and 18s all season, scored for 18s as an U15 last season - it’s what we do with the best players, so in essence he’s already a second year next season and may follow a similar trajectory to Bapaga and Ngandu into the 23s

Ngandu seems to have gone off the boil a bit the last few times I've seen him STP
What do reckon?
He looked a prospect when he first broke through

I think the fact he was 16 playing mens football will start to catch up with him. Would've been a novelty at first and playing with no fear but Im guessing a few strong tackles has reminded him he's still a kid. If we can keep him will be crazy he could be 20 and have been in and around the 23's/first team team for 5 years.

Yes they’ve been playing him as a 4 or 8 now rather than a 10. When I’ve seen him play in the 23s thought he was a tad indecisive to play in an attacking position

Playing as a forward today though, mainly down to a lack of options

Newton looks decent at LB, confident on the ball, strong for his size and not afraid to get stuck in. Kastaneer has lost possession every time he’s had the ball, no exaggeration. Not a lot of note happened thus far
