Can see why Bakayoko chose to head it across goal for O’Hare, but I really think if he headed it at goal it’s 1-0 because Lee Camp clearly isn’t on his toes for it.

He headed it across for a tap in (that O'Hare unfortunately missed) if it was any other player doing that you would have said it was the right thing to do, I just don't get the unwarranted Baka hate, he 100% did the right thing and it was a perfect header back across

Don’t think he would of got the power on it mate was defo the right choice to play it to O’Hare for me if he scored we would all be screaming how well Baka did with it

Just looking back at it I feel like he could’ve snuck that near post. Never mind. It’s not the first time O’Hare has fluffed that kind of chance. He’s done that a few times I think.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming him one bit. Not sure how it can even be construed that way. I’m just saying it was a worth a shot.

It won’t be the same no because he’s a much better overall player and he should have started - he has a great turn and movement snd a very low centre of gravity which gets a lot of fouls and pulls players away

The game changed mostly due to his addition

Yep, it did, he was very good. Just a shame about the miss. My point wasn't that he should get grief but the group about Bakayoko was OTT (and yes, I understand the Baka frustration completely).

Anyone else think Brum looked an average league 1 side ?

Not sure how much we can look into today’s result and say we’re Championship ready or we’re as good as them. Cup games are very much anomalies and don’t reflect a 46 league game season. Portsmouth beat Barnsley 4-2 and Oxford drew with Newcastle at St James’ and both are below us in the league

Who has said we are Championship ready?

We held our own against a Championship club. There is no doubt there. But everyone seems to be realistic. We have a few players that look as though they could handle the step up. But the first half showed we have a bit to go.

Dissapointed not to win that, but I guess O'Hare is as gutted as we were missing that. Some scares from them but other that that we bossed the game for periods, some lovely touches to set up chances or a counter attack. On the whole I'd say we are the better side for wanting to play decent football, lagging behind them in the physical stakes.

Only big negative was their keeper ate up 90% of crosses. Need to play to our strengths not theirs.

Atmosphere was good from where I was sitting in 33 and was pleased the team wasn't phased by having to live up to performing in a "full house". Lets hope those who came for the first time will come again, with the results today in the leauge we could be looking at automatic promotion. Surely nobody wants to miss that boat ride.

Good to test ourselves against tough opposition and come away with a good result. Although fixture congestion is now ridiculous for the next month or so, especially if we win the replay. Let’s hope the squad can handle it.

They had the best of the 1st half. Yes we could have won in the end. But it certainly was an even game.
