0-0 draw Sunderland v Doncaster both dropped points - Results going our way - this is a good sign - win those games in hand and we have a real chance!
Getting a tiny bit excited - it’s in the stars!

They looked a tidy enough side last week but were lacking up front.
Hope you've backed a winner but I'm not confident for you mate.
Happy to lose as it was a draw.

3 points off the top and at least a game in hand on all the sides in the top 6. Fleetwood and Bristol Rovers next. Could be a fun few weeks

It's going to be a crazy month mate.
Games coming thick and fast.
Can't get too worked up about tomorrow but getting butterflies thinking about the next 4 or 5 weeks worth of league fixtures

Oh yes looking forward to it.

Even better is nobody will be looking forward to playing us. We are even winning away games now. Only dropped 2 points out of last 15. And another game in hand on lots of teams after the weekend. If more results go our way we can start believing.

As I said on another thread? I refuse to mention the P word!

If we get any sort of result at Fleetwood, I'll use the P word (very quietly), and even if we don't, as long as we win down at Brizzle on Saturday, i'll still be more than hopeful. A bit like drawing Blues in the cup though, the one thing I really don't want is playing Sunderland at Wembley in the play off final (unless we win - and I bet they secretly think the same!)

Sunderland on a big pitch that is in good condition? Think we would win easily.

Only 1 side hasn't lost twice or more the amount of games that we have. We have lost 3 they have lost 5. Only Rotherham are not constantly dropping points. We have climbed the table whilst playing the least amount of games. We are playing good football.

We are not the Coventry of old. I get what you are saying. But I am enjoying this season. Even the bookies like our chances.

I think Rotherham, Ispwich, Sunderland, Oxford, Peterborough and Portsmouth are all better sides than us. Plays-offs would be a big achievement this season, autos would be huge.

"Was doing a football badge quiz with my nephew (aged 8) a few weekends ago. He loves anything like that. Showed him the Sandhausen Badge with the name scrubbed out. (German second Division) and he got it.

Showed him the Coventry one and not only did he not get it but when I told him the answer he just sort of looked at me like I’d spoke in Polish or something, said ‘who’ and asked if I could start asking questions about real football teams who people will have heard of. The next one that came up was Stockport. He looked relieved that things had returned to normal and then correctly identified the Stockport badge. Actually his exact words were ‘Stockport, the hatters’."

Tell him we’re massive and that he should educate himself. Also tell him to watch the 1987 FA cup final

Everyone keeps saying it’s a poor league this year but a lot of teams have improved (especially us) which is why all three remaining teams from last year’s top 6 are all currently lower placed than they finished last year.

I am one of them

Riles some of them. All I have to do is speak the truth. Helps pass the time on a 12 hour shift.
