There is big difference between the two divisions. Blues (although not having their greatest season) are a well established Championship side. I can see them coming out on top 2-1

It's the FA CUP anything can happen .

As in 87, Go for it, go for it City.

Slightly off piste, but don't want Tranmere winning tonight, as they then have to play Man U on Sunday, then Sunderland on Tuesday , which will be a gimme for the Mackems, despite that pitch.

they won! Another team who could potentially get a cut of the 'last man standing' progressive prize money.

Doesn't give them much time to sell tickets.

Just had my tickets arrive today, ordered 4 but only had two paper tickets and apparently two uploaded to two season tickets but the customer service rep didn’t sound too sure, anyone else had this?

They have said to others on Twitter that seats have been uploaded to season ticket cards

Yeah, just realised I hadn’t got mine so called them. They said a small number of tickets had been uploaded to season tickets and this was a mistake as they won’t work. I’ve got to pick the paper ones up at the ground tomorrow (which is easy tbf).

Anyone this applies to (a ‘handful’ according to ticket office) might want to give them a call to make sure their paper tickets will be available.

Getting increasingly excited for the game tomorrow. In the grand scene of things it means way less than Tuesday night, but it has the potential to be a fantastic day.

While I wish we got similar crowds each week, and every game was as much as a spectacle, unfortunately that’s not the reality.

So I’m going to enjoy the novelty of tomorrow, hope we win, gain a few fans for future league games and make the most of a unique situation.

I’m even going to try and rise above the inevitable idiotic ‘forward’ shouts 2 minutes into the game!

I’m not so sure this game is less important than Tuesday. I mean success in the league ultimately would be more important than progressing an extra round in a cup we are never going to win obviously, but realistically a tie against one of the big clubs in the next round would make a significant financial contribution to our season. It would also give us all the boost and the memories that come from winning a match played in unique circumstances, as underdogs, at home in someone else’s backyard, and should have a cracking atmosphere.

I live in brum so know a few blues and all of them have been laughing about this fixture. They’ve all been asking about the situation with the ricoh etc and have all been happy to be able to have provided us with a stadium. It’s got our situation a bit of publicity (and sympathy), which has to be a good thing.

Looking forward to it more than ‘just’ an fa cup match, should be a cracking atmosphere. I guess there’ve been a few matches in recent years with equal numbers of fans, but this is a bit different — for me at least. Bring it on!

Just had a family do in Blackburn, about to drive back to Coventry. In at 2/3am, few hours sleep then meet up with my best mate and old man.

Really looking forward to this, will be a great atmosphere and I really think we’ll give them a game. Don’t know whether I’m excited because of the unique nature or because it’s the FA Cup but I don’t care. Let’s get behind the boys!
