If it is to do with the coaches and there aren't that many of them, why don't they just park them up on Tilton Rd and Cattell Rd like they do normally, which would free up some more turnstiles?

It's not a police decision. It's to do with the coaches. Worth watching this from this evening about 10 mins onwards. WMP would have little objection to more tickets being made available;

How many coaches are you guys bringing? They picking up at Digbeth station and dropping you at the ground?

Look at the match day thread for a home game and see how many are on Ifollow. A good number of those are local.

I have used iFollow for a home game but only when I have been called into work a couple of times over the years :(

In terms of away games, I physically can't make every away game so the next best thing is to pay the club to watch it.

If I have the choice, it's being at the game every time! iFollow is a backup.

I remember something called the wall but can't remember what it was. Was it a chat room?
It was something on the offal. I think it was like a chatroom but I just muted all the random people talking. It was Kieran Crowley that just gave a random commentary on the game. I suspect many of those following that are now getting the stream for free on Facebook.

Have you a link to that info?

Last season EFL attendances were at a 60 year high - Average attendance of all 72 EFL clubs in the 2018/19 season - ranked lowest to biggest - Fan Banter

There's a bit in there about it and a quote from EFL referencing iFollow. The away attendances I remember seeing a few months back, there are people who keep track of this since clubs started publishing away figures about 8 years ago. Don't have time to dig it out right now but will try to find it later.

Interesting point that.

Had you drawn one of the top clubs would you have got a comparable size attendance to saturdays?

I’m not great at calling attendances but say Liverpool were turning up, I would say it would sell out. They would sell out their allocation and then you would have maybe a similar amount of Coventry fans. There would then be the daytrippers from Brum and Cov who just want to watch Liverpool.

With my data head on one slight proviso to that. What’s the rate of increase been in previous years? It’s possible to have an all time high but iFollow slowing the rate of increase. Say it was going up 5% a year and then since iFollow it’s 1% (numbers from my ass) that’d prove Irish’s point.

My gut says that it might be a pirated music situation where free access gets and keeps people engaged but they still want the real thing.

Interesting discussion.

Anyone know what the capacity with current segregation, will be ?

Should be a decent earner (and should’ve been on tv - glad it’s 3pm Saturday though)

This is the ideal fixture to see how far we have come and how far we need to go should we go up, two of last years promoted teams are adrift in the the bottom two and the other 6th from bottom so it’s tough.
Birmingham are one of those teams who can beat the best but lose to the worst I think at our best we are as good as any in our division and I’m hopeful we’ll give account of ourselves. I think we will .
