According to Jim brown is 6 in the 66/67 season

I would like to think that with 19 games remaining we could actually equal this record at least, and with some luck beat it.
Tough I know but 3 defeats in 25 is some doing.

Also it's now just 1 league defeat in the last 13 matches

Only Liverpool (0) and West Brom (2) have less league defeats than us in the whole football league. This must be the least defeats at this stage of a season in my lifetime.

If we do want to get automatically promoted however more wins are needed and not draws.

Rotherham have lost 7 and unless we win our game in hand by 12 goals we won’t go above them

Before Xmas we had one of, if not the lowest GD in the top half. Now, the GD isn’t as much of a factor as we’ve started to catch up to others.

We just need to keep the scoreboard ticking over, and if we’re not losing, we’re exactly that.

You look at the likes of Ipswich, Sunderland, P’boro and Pompey who have well outspent us - not many would have expected us to be above them and competing for automatics. As long as we can give ourselves a chance in the playoffs, I think it’s been a great season all things considered.
