All good mate. I enjoy International rugby as I say, watch Coventry RU results. If they finish 3ed behind Cornish and Newcastle that would be brilliant. Could be a good sporting year for Cov!!
You know you get nothing for coming third, right? Top go up. That's it!

newcastle are too strong, have or have close to a 100% record. they will be going up. But CRFC are doing very well for sure

dont need to be a rugby expert to no wasps are a candidate to get relegated though
its a forgone conclusion that Newcastle will come straight back up, the relegated clubs are nearly always too strong for the rest of the league to compete with. whilst the present league position suggest Wasps are certainly relegation candidates it would still be relatively major shock if it was to happen. Wasps next four games will dictate if their season will be a relegation battle or a mid table finish, Worcester away, Leic (during six nations) away, Saracens home (during six nations) and Irish Away, also the Last 4 games will mean what ever happens our destiny will probably be in our own hands with Leic at home, Bristol at home, Quinn away and Exeter at home (good chance they will already have secured a home semi final by then and as such will rest players for the semi the following week)

I am aware yes, however considering where Cov rugby was a few years ago, they are now competing and if they continue the upward curve, could very well gain promotion in next couple of years. 3rd in the second tier is still a very good season. I should think Butts would need upgrading a lot to gain promotion in truth.

I understand your point but the fact is though, those results still went the wrong way. Come the end of the season and whoever lies in the relegation spot will it really matter who took a battering and who didn't? All that'll matter are the points on the board. You're not going to get any medals for nearly winning or just falling short at the last hurdle so there's little purpose in glossing over your results as regardless of who took a tonking and who didn't, you still remain worse off than Worcester and Quins. Like I said I'm not in a position to say who will go down or who will avoid the drop but what does irk me is the fact that your fanbase is refusing to call it what it is, and that's a relegation battle.
That's where you are wrong most sensible fans know we could well be in the relegation battle and looking at the league its hard to argue anything else, whatever happens from here is speculation and opinion and my opinion is we are playing marginally better than our current position suggests, we've already got all bar one of the toughest away games out of the way, the league this year is just starting to settled down following the world cup that's why the likes of Worcester and Irish are starting to drop down the league, for what its worth i think the it will finish bottom upwards with Irish, Worcester, Quinns, Wasps, Leicester, Bristol are also in danger of getting dragged into which is a surprise but they are in a dreadful run of form and it may be that teams have sussed them out

Could you please stop using the phrase "at home"?
"At the squat" would be a sufficient replacement.

can you recommend any that you have had success on? then again probably not
I'm sure you've tried them all already . What you really need is an interest in life that puts you in touch with like minded people.

Worrying news for Wasp haters (like me) is that Saracens are looking likely to be relegated this season as a punishment for failing to prove they’ve sorted the salary cap for this season - means that no other team in the league will be relegated this season even if they finish bottom!
Very depressing!!!

That's rugby. Run by clueless feckin' twats.

Lucky FIFA, UEFA, the FA, EPL and EFL have such integrity, right? You don't have to like the sport, but don't talk sh*te on a subject you know nothing about.

Oh, ok, fair enough. I've only played and followed the game since about 1961, and been an ST holder at Cov since the eighties, so I'll withhold comment until such time as I've learned about it.
Cheers.

Ha! That's what I get for assuming someone slating rugby on here doesn't follow the sport. Now that I've made myself look like a dickhead I'll get an early one before the trip tmrw.
