Fair enough. You’re entitled to your opinion. I don’t think we are owed an attendance and our city has never been much of a footballing city. It’s a long road back from L2 attendances.

Agree. People seem to look back on the JH days as if we have been traditionally a top flight club and a large footballing city. We're just another Leicester - really good crowds during the glory years and distinctively average at any other time. It's why I get quite embarrassed when I read some of the stuff here about Sunderland, with their excellent support base (although admit I also get wound up by some of the stuff on RTG). Generally, footballing communities are stronger and greater the more North you go, outside of London clubs like Arsenal (Chelsea being just another Leicester..).

I think the interest is more to do with the opposition and the complete one off situation. Can't imagine we'd get anywhere near these sales if it was a fixture versus another run of the mill Championship team.

Literally this. A lot of people are going for the spectacle of it. My sister (Cov fan by default because of me but not really a fan) and her husband (villa fan) are going because it will be a fun day out and good atmosphere etc... It's a self fulfilling prophecy. Fans attract fans. They wouldn't be going if it was no atmosphere and silence for 90 minutes like most home matches.

I really hope that Brum don't find a way to un-cup tie him.
Agree - that would be some trick seeing as he played against Burnley in the 3rd Round & Dover in the 2nd Round!
Come on Jamie Kemble - get your shit together - a 2 minute online check is all it takes!

You sure he was on to the Blues ticket office and not True Blue Escorts Red Hot phone line!

This game however is a special event for both clubs. No doubt in my mind it will sell out.
Its going to feel wierd though as Im off to Fleetwood the following Tuesday with maybe 300 other travelling Sky Blues - thats football if youre a Sky Blue I suppose!

Same here, we have Middlesbrough away the Tuesday before. Probably be around 5-600 at best

The Roost have confirmed they are welcoming fans from both clubs. Sure it'll be fine. There's literally no animosity at all.
Same with Bainsys - they say both sets of fans are welcome.

Ok Gaz - are you a Blues fan?
I think if you play your cards right you might get a load of drinks bought for you by grateful Sky Blue supporters!

The idea is - we ask you a question & you give an answer - then we might ask you another one - radical I know! :shamefullyembarrased:

I sometimes go the Kerryman just because it's the first one I walk past.

Sure I read that was a to be avoided pub if Blues are at home i.e. a Zulu pub?

As far as I can tell they are having a mixed season - most Blues fans Ive spoken with think we will turn them over.
Not sure myself but it will be good to see the difference between League 1 & The Championship.

How are Blues playing this season? Do we have a chance? I hope we play like we can, really want to see how we stack up against a Championship side.

18th I think in the league, good home form at start of season, not so sure recent form.

Mate the Zulus are all late 50s 60s now. They’ll turn out together for certain fixtures but they drink all over now. A lot of em have boxes.

You have a very good chance. We are up and down form wise whereas you lads are consistent. Anything could happen.
