Talk sport / twitter talk of PSG coming to watch McCallum (although he didn't play of course). Value and stock rising (10M).

Not gonna name names but someone on here not that long ago suggested that Mccallum would end up ‘closer to non league than the prem”

it’s pretty clear that the game comes very easily to him, whilst he is nowhere near the finished article he ooozes class and is clearly blessed physically.

Wouldn’t sell for anything less than 5 million, he is going to be worth a hell of a lot more in two years time.

Tbf I said Walsh was a terrible footballer. He was a bit dodgy first few games. I take it back. Form goes up and down. Mccallum looked bloody awful last season against bottom of the league Bradford but clearly showing rapid improvement. Good on him

McCallum will play premiership football for sure in my opinion said it a few times he reminds me of a young Ashley Cole we could see the lad in the England set up in a few years who knows where he can go with his career, said yesterday his potential is at ta similar level to that of Maddison’s when he was here

I’m not sure there’s ever a certainty. In the last 10 years only 2, possibly 3 with Fleck in the future perm Coventry players have gone on to play regularly in the Premier League

It’s difficult and getting even harder

I think you could go back to about 2005 as well. Had the likes of Turner (31 games), Westwood (19 games), McSheffrey (40 games - 37 at Blues) and Fox (37 games) but they never established themselves at that level

So in 15 seasons you have 3 players: Dann, Maddison, Wilson

Have I missed anyone?

Van Aanholt (again only a loan and probably spelt wrongly)

It was confirmed on talk sport by the reporter at the ground that the PSG sporting director had came to watch him last night

I just don't get it. Yes, he's good but why would one of the richest clubs in the world look at a player in the 3rd tier of the English leagues. Surely there's better players they can get, still for a decent price, playing in better leagues with more experience??
