I think he will try and move at least one forward out and replace them. If Godden gets injured then the same problems are back

Also we may sell someone for a fee to allow cash headroom - the financial position can’t be good

Can see Hiuwla or Baka going 100% probably Hiwula,Kastaneer needs jogging on can’t see him going though 3 year contract here also

Appreciate Kasteneer hasn't been good but I can't see him being moved on yet. He's on a 3 year contract and has moved to a new league so needs time to settle. Also had a pre-season injury, which won't have helped. Glimpses of a player there so will likely be given more time. A loan to lower league one or league two probably wouldn't be the worst thing though.

Pele to draw the fouls up front until he gets injured, Ossie Ardiles to run rings around them with keepy-uppies and Michael Caine (to cover for if Walsh goes back) as a steady head alongside Kelly in front of the defence.

I think he may try and move one at least one of Baka and Hiwula if he can get someone else in up front. I've said before I'd like to see Ponti given the chances off the bench or in cup games in their place but with a real chance of promotion I can understand bringing in someone with more experience etc. I just hope we don't end up getting a young loanee from a Champ club instead of testing out our own.

I also don't think he'd be averse to Kast leaving but can't see many takers. Can't see Bright coming back though if his loan is terminated expect to see the trolling of fans on social media with sky blue hearts and pics from his first stint. We're covered for players in that position even if they play in a different way and I'd rather not upset the apple cart - squad morale and togetherness seems pretty good.

I'd be very happy if we bought no one.

Just hope we don't sell anyone in and around the current 18 man match day squad!

This squad has potential to win this league and there won't be a better chance to do it.

There seems a great togetherness. The depth of squad is immense and seems to be keeping everyone on their toes.

No chance of selling/leaving..unless ridiculous offer comes in.

Jones won't be going anywhere
Been doing well in training apparently and the U23 games start again in the next week or so
He played 45 minutes in the last one before Christmas and did well so he'll gradually get match fitness at that level ahead of being used from the bench for the first team

MR’s comments about playing in Birmingham just show how ridiculous the stance of not supporting the team while we’re there is.

I can’t see anyone of importance going, the closest would be Hiwula who seems to have had a fall from grace. Not sure how much interest there would be though considering his form and contract situation. Same with Baka. I wouldn’t want want to lose both though.

While on strikers, I’d also recall Ponti. I am not one of those who believe he’s the next Wilson, and have been critical of him when I’ve seen him, but he isn’t getting any game time at Tranmere and he’s worth having as an option.

We don’t need wingers as we don’t play with them, the current set up uses two ACM/10’s behind a sole striker. We do however need RWB cover, so I’d happily keep Watson as he’s impressed when he’s played, just depends if he/Reading are happy for him to not have much game time.

I don’t think we need CB cover, we have Williams and Drysdale.

Striker is the obvious position, but whoever came in would be second fiddle to Godden (who we paid £750,000 for) and what on form striker would be willing to do that?

We potentially need a 10 (I’d be fine with Bright) but even that is questionable with both Allen and O’Hare not even making the starting XI.

I would love to see a few come in, who doesn’t love the excitement of new players! But I have said from the start of the season, we have an incredibly strong squad so we aren’t in desperate need of anything. We may want a striker or 10 but it isn’t desperate.

Agreed on Ponti. I'm not sure he'e the second coming either but it makes no sense having him up in Tranmere getting zero game time. Either have him back here or send him out to someone at a lower level who will play him.

Agree. Promotion to the champ is the only chance we have of SISU putting us up for sale and being able to return to the Ricoh under a new owner. We need bums on seats to keep the cash coming in to give us the best possible chance of going up.

Need few experience players in.
