Tiny ground though it is, that doesn't seem like 25% of the capacity to me. That's just the standard visiting support allocation, surely?
Or has the 25% thing always been a bit of a myth? Or indeed, did that 'rule' change a few years ago without me realising?!

It’s minimum 5% for league games and up to 15% for cup games

Uh? It's a little known fact (or maybe not) that part of the rules of the FA cup (as administered by the FA themselves) are that the visiting team's supporters are entitled to 25% of the ground's allocation. I know this isn't always practical and it clearly wouldn't have to apply to some lower league clubs who have a very low following and also the police do have a substantial say in the matter, if not the final say.
I was just wondering if that rule had now changed because that given allocation does seem quite low even for their small stadium.

From the FA website, 15% for FA Cup games like I said, so 1850 tickets for us is close to the 15% of the grounds 12,300 capacity.

We won’t sell anything close to that anyway

Yeah no chance, maybe if they went on sale like two weeks ago like the most of the ties but due to both being replays there’s no chance were selling close to 1850. People on twitter genuinely worrying that it won’t make it to general sale aswell lol. I think the fact train is like £60 is a big put off for most too. And the fact it’ll be our 3rd away game in 7 days

No question there’s 6000 people who only do away games
6000 people that state they are away games only. But I’d question how many of those that stated that at the start of the season a) have been many away games this season and b) even went games at all. Most away allocations this season have been taken up by season ticket holders with very few tickets making it to general sale

Meanwhile, there are around 80 terrace tickets left for Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup tie at Bristol Rovers (KO 2.01pm).

City have a full away allocation of 1,800 for the game at the Memorial Park and had sold just over 1,400 as of 10am today (Mon, Dec 30)

Confused- previously said all seats had been sold, only 80 terrace tickets left, yet have sold 1400 of 1800 tickets??

How can there be approx 400 left, yet they quote 80? Maths ???

There was 400 left as of 10am this morning, then at half 4 when they tweeted that there was only 80 left, meaning 320 had been sold in 6 and a half hours.

Not at all. Just pointing out that if there are 6000 only doing away games we should sell them out every week. Got my tickets really looking forward to it
Basically the away games only crowd are not going to away games as most of the allocation is taken up by ST holders. But there should be a mad scramble when they hit general sale by the absent 6000.
There isn't and that suggests many are not as activily bothered to watch the team as they make out and it's the more dedicated fans making the effort to support The TEAM home and away.
