Possibly our best of the season so far

I'm still shaking my head at Wycombe's tactics. They done the same thing every time we've played them since L2 and despite losing each time they've just gone for another rinse and repeat. Baffling management.

The way Shipley back flicked it whilst the ball was in the air was something you would expect to see in the Premier league at the etihad... An absolutely incredible goal

They played the same way when we beat them in the JPT area final that time, that's nearly 3 years ago. I'm stunned at how well they're doing as it isn't that difficult to play against

Tbf to them they did get automatically promoted in L2 playing that way when we finished in the play offs and are currently top atm.

Nice comments on the Wycombe board..

And Godden’s movement into space for his hattrick goal is amazing. The focus will rightly be on Shipley’s excellent bit of skill but it’s that little bit of awareness and anticipation that both Biamou and Bakayoko lack, the kind of thing that you can’t teach and is the difference between good strikers and average strikers. We have the best first XI in this league and are a quality back up striker away from the best 16
