Marosi - 7. Didn't have that much to do but did it well. Was that a fingertip save in the second half or was it going wide anyway
Rose & Hyam - 7 both solid
McFadz - 8 played well today
Dabo - 8 always good
McCallum - 6. Was OK but distribution poor I thought. Crosses almost always poor
Shipperz; Kelly; Westbrooke; Walsh - Midfield looked very good - loved the possession football
Godden - 6 Did something at the end but largely anonymous.

Very similar performance to last week I thought. Difference is clearly We won this one

Pretty much everyone a 7

Mcfaz, dabo and Westbrooke 8

Agree with this mostly. McCallum uncharacteristically poor so would give him a 6 and Hyam, as he completely missed the ball on three occasions. Would add Walsh to the 8s. Thought he was quality again.

Spot on. Shippers in midfield was very effective today.
Completely dominated the first half.
Would like to have seen changes after we gave Lincoln the initiative in the first 10 after half time. Bench today was one of the strongest I have seen in a long time; I would have liked to have seen Allen and O'Hare in the final 30 minutes.
Still not convinced by 1 up-front and certainly would like to see Godden and Max given an extended run together.

Agree. They are yet to play as a two from the Start.

Kelly bossed the midfield today. Closed everything down and spread the ball well 8 MOTM for me

shipley usually frustrates me with his reluctance to tackle, but again he closed the play down well and stifled what little attacking threat they showed.

Walsh had one of his better games and worked well alongside Westbrooke and dabo did well closing down the play down the wings and pushing forward too... if I had o e complaint today it would be that, at times, it looked like all of the above had space to push on I to attack but chose to retain possession by pulling back and going sidewards

Marosi 7 Distribution slightly better today, only seen him make one mistake today
McF 8 best game I have seen him play for us. I usually blame him as he makes too many costly mistakes
Rose 8 Decent
Hyam 7 Decent
Kelly 7 was OK today, whilst I don't technically rate him, we are a better team when he is playing
Walsh 8
Shipley 8 Class
Westbrooke 8 MOM
Dabo 7
McC 4 Shocking, had so much space to run into and hardly ever did it.
Godden 7

He clearly has made mistakes previously, but that was a great performance from him yesterday. Strong in the air, solid in the tackle, decent distribution. Really enjoyed watching him.

He can be a good defender and organiser for this level. Trouble is when he makes a mistake they tend to be pretty huge and cost us. Anyone who's played as a defender know you can play great for 89 mins, make one slip and you're responsible for the team losing and that's all everyone remembers

I think something that Hill 83 wrote a few weeks back was interesting. He was saying that ratings are sometimes pre-determined on bias for certain players. Godden was fine yesterday (and the ratings are fair) and worked hard but without scoring/setting up chances for others. In contrast, Baka has been slaughtered for performances in which he's been on the scoresheet and/or created goals. I'm also guilty of bias to be honest - Jodi Jones will certainly get 10/10 from me every time he steps onto the pitch in 2020!

I thought Kelly was MotM too.

Best game I've seen Walsh have for us yesterday. Was brave in possession and always looking to play a forward pass.
