Every time he'd do one too you'd see him walk off slowly as if soaking up applause for the best joke ever made.

Is Andy Parsons on TV anymore?

I remember hating the baldy little fucker ten or so years ago but thankfully I've been spared his awfulness in recent years.

I have to admire him a little though. It takes a real determination to consistently have been the worst thing on Mock the Week, a show that somehow still gets made today despite commissioners having surely watched it.
I stopped watching it some time ago. It used to be fresh and funny, but found it was getting increasingly tired and jaded. Pity. It was a great show at one point.

Mock The Week was quite good when Frankie Boyle was on it but some people think he just went on and improvised his material when in reality he would write jokes all week and then test it out on a small audience to see what worked the night before filming.

Yeah, you could tell it was pre-planned and rehearsed. He was funny on there though.

He’s one of those comedians whose success is built on telegraphing to the audience when they should laugh by employing ridiculously over the top mannerisms and absurd changes in the tone of his voice. When you listen there’s rarely even the hint of comedy or a joke.

Kind of like Lee Evans. Both cretins.

When he was on Mock The Week his punchline was nearly always "Gordon Brown" who was Prime Minister at the time and an unbelievably easy target.

Lazy, unfunny twat.

He's talking about Michael McIntyre isn't he?

Oh yes, I appear to have misjudged that one.

Watched a few recent mock the weeks, there’s no real belly laughs anymore , someone says something “funny” and there is just a round of applause.

Comedians either playing the race card or some sort of political joke , it’s a bloody awful show now. Went downhill as soon as Frankie Boyle left imo

also, how much of 'mock the week' is actually about 'the week'? About 10% the last time I saw it. Pretty sure that 'things that you would never hear in a cakeshop' is not topical.
