Give the bloke a chance Dom. I'd imagine a token role for Allen this weekend as a sub. No point pushing him too hard in what ought to be a fiercely competitive game.

Would be good if some goals can be scored for confidence !

These games usually go the opposite way when a lot of first teamers are involved. Chances are the 11 today haven’t even trained together while the other teams have trained together all season. Then you have the other factor that the first team players treat this as a glorified training session and the younger, less experienced team have more to prove.

Well just a trophy as we are a Category 2 academy and can’t move up.

We could enter the PL cup where we can test ourselves against Cat 1 teams but the club don’t decide to enter.
