I'm calling it now. The team that wins this match will go up.

For the first time this season I'm starting to take Wycombe seriously re: autos. A new owner means they can spend some £££s in the Dec/january window to bolster their squad.

From their forum;

“Exactly the sort of team we struggle against - fast, physical and direct.
Like last season, I'm not looking forward to this one”

We are the least direct team I’ve seen all season!?

We're not really fast. We are definitely not physical. We aren't direct.

I'd like to slap £1,000 down on a City win, but no doubt SBT Bookies won't be running yet again! :emoji_rage::emoji_rage::emoji_rage::emoji_rage::emoji_rage::emoji_rage:

We play games like this (good team away) differently than others. Ask Portsmouth fans for example what they think of us from our 2 away games there in the last 2 seasons and they’d say the same.

They have a nasty trip down to Gillingham for a cup replay tomorrow night. Although it's not a priority for them, Parkinson has had such a patchy start in terms of results and performances I don't think he dare play a weak side, or he will get pelters (a new favourite word!). Hopefully Willis will aggravate his injury, McNulty and others will all get crocked. I'll take any little advantage we can get.
"Pelters" is in common use here in the Caledonian Badlands. Some great words in the Scots vernacular.

I’m more in hope than comfort with this game, unless Bakayoko can have a “Charlton” day I don’t see where we will worry Sunderland up front, definitely fingers crossed with this one.

we play better against teams that have a more expansive game than a back 6 all over 7ft so it could be a similar game to last year - their pitch is nearly as good as ours

Now they've got Parkinson in charge I'm not sure how expansive they'll be. His previous Bradford team were very much long ball merchants.

I think we will kick off 10 minutes late just to piss the pricks off, but sorry to the genuine fans amongst them

They made 5 changes from their last game, apparently Willis is injured. In the opening 90 mins they had 4 shots with none on target.
