Have to say I’ve been impressed with Zain the past month or so,seems to now be imposing himself in games demanding the ball.Dabo & Westbrooke yesterday were a constant threat down our right,it’s like now Zain actually feels he’s officially part of the side...anyone know his stats so far goals and assists ? Offers decent quality on the ball & is constantly looking to run past the defensive line from midfield.

Yes, must say initially I didn’t think he offered that much and was often just drifting through games. Has really started to come to the fore in the last 6-8 Weeks.

How many chances has he made

If our forwards could score, he would have had another yesterday and plenty more prior to that.

He has already bettered the goal involvement of Bayliss last season and hasn't even played half the games he did.

Him and Shipley seem to have a nice little understanding going on. The goal yesterday was a carbon copy of the Colchester one.

Shipley and Westbrooke have more goal involvement than O’Hare but that doesn’t necessarily translate into being better players

Are you suggesting he’s better than Bayliss here ?? ;)

I think our strongest midfield will be Westbrooke Kelly Allen

Shipley O’Hare Walsh as back up

He has become a major part of the team and is very good technically. Creatively he’s our best player at the moment and it says something that we haven’t missed Bayliss at all since he left with Westbrooke filling the creative role in midfield.
He does need some decent boots though(as they all do) to stop slipping over.

Performing a lot higher than Bayliss did last season although I feel Bayliss in a 3 man midfield Would of played higher than he shown

Saw Westbrooke playing for Leyton against Gillingham in the cup a few seasons ago. He was on loan from Brentford. By far the best player on the pitch. Was well pleased we signed him. Turning out to be a good signing.

Hope you're reading this Mrs Westbrooke. You can quote me on Twitter if you like:happy:

It doesn't, but I'd rather Westbrooke in the team than Bayliss right now.

People will slate me for this, but in a team desperate for goals, we need someone who can create them and chip in with a few.

Thomas last season is the prime example. One of the most gifted players I've seen for us for a very long time but he didn't score or create anywhere near enough.

Hard to see what gripes people have on a Westbrooke. He’s scoring, getting assists and having impacts on games, rarely gets injured and puts a shift in. A suite epic scout that. I like him.

Let's face it, both Shipley and Westbrooke have progressed a lot this season, and despite all the excitement of O'Hare , Walsh and Allen, not many on here would be too upset if it was a Shipley, Kelly. Westbrooke starting 3 in midfield. The one area of the pitch we've been incredibly blessed this season.

Always thought O’Hare was over rated tbh

Westbrooke and Shipley attended the sbitc holiday camp earlier this year, which my son was at. They were both great with the kids....but the funniest / best thing was Westbrooke played with them and was shooting and celebrating when he scored past an eight year old. Just polite, young lads, playing football and enjoying themselves!

Mind blown!? I guarantee he will be starting against Sunderland our most creative/ talented player.
“Our most talented creative player”

Not for me also he’s not “ours” I’ll also guarantee he doesn’t start next week robins will keep the same team minus Eccles for Kelly

Really like how Robins has been playing the formation in recent weeks, turning it into a 3-4-2-1 with Shipley and Westbrooke as the 2 buzzing around the striker and making runs. It works because they're so hard-working and willing to go forward all the time. Wonder if we'll go back to 3-5-2 when Biamou is back.
