Back at the Ricoh in January (3 Viewers)

The bigger picture is worse than losing fans who are enticed away by something else on Saturdays, ensuring that we are unable to progress to anything other than a Championship/League 1 yo-yo club is a far bigger cause for concern in the long-term.

This has been coming since they were parachuted into the Ricoh though and over the course of the next decades they will see CCFC as a direct competitor for new fans, whether we like it or not.
This has been coming since we vacated the ricoh for Northampton. Just admit that you've backed the wrong horse.

But not going-odd.
Mixture of reasons really.

My mum has dementia and I have to go over and see her everyday and she has now had five falls, so is always in and out of hospital. I also sort out all my parents washing and shopping and financial stuff.

However, I am also struggling to find the motivation to go to St Andrews anyway. I just hate the thought of it.

Have nearly gone on a couple of occasions, but still haven't yet.

Not interested in games there. I've been in Glasgow with the wife. Found other things to do with my Saturday's.
Why do you stalk me on this forum?

You are supporting the team over 23 games this season then? Are you keeping your own personal track of the away games only table?

The £1.2m a year rent would have ended the club and multiple requests to renegotiate were turned down.

How is backing the club I support backing the wrong horse?
But we could afford to pay 7 million in wages so the rent although stupidly high was affordable then yes or no?

Who's said your not backing the club? You jumping on the backs of people who slag the owners off is weird. Why do you do it?

I'm not a superfan though. The seasons I've had a st since 79 don't count. If you don't go to the sty your not a fan anymore. What was the gate yesterday? 5k was it. That says it all.

You don’t have to be a super fan to acknowledge we play a 46 game season and not a 23 one.

Will you only go to Wembley then if our away form has us in the top 6 as you are not interested in and not counting home games?

I m in the camp of would nt want to come back to be the underlings of the Franchise London Wasps at the Ricoh unless as owners or part owners. I d much prefer a new ground in Coventry or very very close.
As for losing fans, we re down to just over 5000 who continue to go.
I genuinely do nt think the Ricoh will drag back fans.
I think 8/9000 tops which is shocking.
Interested too hear what people think we ll achieve by going back and subsidising a Franchise Rugby Club.
Happy to see them lose again yesterday.

Just think we have to get back in Cov ASAP for the sake of the club's future.

With wasps struggling im sure there could be some mutually beneficial arrangements made regarding income streams.
It's not ideal but with no new ground on the horizon (and never will be in my oopinion) I think its the best option we have.
Personally I still prefer Sr.Andrews and had another great day yesterday but staying there isn't sustainable in my eyes.

Ah this old chestnut. Wembley. No I wouldn't go as I'm on a cruise next may anyway.

Well when we come back to Coventry you can stay there and support blues as you like it so much.

We need part ownership of the ricoh and access to the revenue streams we create.

They just don’t wanna hear this, same as the fact wasps kicked us out this year. Doesn’t suit the anti sisu narrative
