I wonder what criteria they used for picking those players?
Certainly not based on number of caps or goals scored .
Ashley Cole and Rio Ferdinand or maybe John Barnes should come ahead of Anderson and Ince based on caps by black players.
Based on caps, many players would come ahead of Platt or Gazza. Like Lampard, Robson, Scholes and many others.

Benjamin Odeje was the first black player to represent England.
Anderson was the first black player to play an international for the first team, Odeje didn’t he played schoolboy football. Ince was the first black player to captain the national side that’s why they are there.
