18/19 we had 27 points after 16 games. This season we’ve got 26 points after 16 games

The games after that at home we drew with Accrington, drew with Peterborough, lost to Luton, then beat Charlton and Southend over Christmas

I’m talking about the style of play which seems to becoming a bit of a myth. It’s certainly not producing any better results than last season

Picking out very selective results to suit the argument. Believe we went on to win 4 games in the next 16/17 which included the 3 at Christmas.

Let's judge come the end of the season. Last year most said that the results we had picked up were Lucky when we went on the 6 game winning streak. This year I don't know many who don't think we are a better side, that is a lot more dominant and have been unlucky in comparison.

The style of play isn't a myth. Whether it correlates to results think you need to judge at the end of may. Not mid November.

I thought you was talking about home games as you said the pitch was deteriorating which I assume was about the Ricoh?

The home form stayed around the same level and the only game we lost until the new year was to eventual champions Luton

Pitches in general deteriorate, but no I was more talking about the style of play sorry for not being clear!

To be honest under robins our home form has always been good.

I would rather play football in a football stadium not a rugby one. Wasps fuckd us out so they can fuck off now. If they go bust and fuck off out of cov then I would gladly go back to the Ricoh

Good news if it pans out. Someone has finally crumbled. Hope we get a deal with some sustainability can't keep plodding on playing second fiddle to wasps

Don’t believe it but would very happily be proven wrong. Would be interested to know if the OP can back himself up with a charity bet...

There’s no point returning on a 2 year deal that has us over a barrel again and returns us to the same situation in a couple of years. Any return has to mean we’re secure long term, have access to revenues we generate and have guarantees we’re not going to be playing on a ploughed field.

We'd also played 2 games more at that point hadn't we? Then also preceded to go on a 6 game losing streak or something like that just as the pitch began to deteriorate.... Although of course not the only reason we were just shit
Two teams played on the same pitch didn’t they?

No great surprise if this is true. Playing at St Andrews is clearly not sustainable beyond the end of this season, the club will die if we are still there next season and Sepalla knows it. The novelty value of playing in Birmingham has been lost as the poor weather, pre Xmas traffic congestion in Birmingham and our inability to put the ball in the back of the net all kick in.

All excuses that people would be using not to go to the Ricoh if we were there.
