  1. When are you going to start bantering then?

Where have you been for the last 3 years. ;)

Here are some that come to mind.

Otis and the train tickets.

Sw88, taxi for Sw88.

Covcity4life and his fat figures .

Sky Blue Harry, no good asking Shay Given, he doesn't know where Dublin is.

Hoofhearted, hi Hoof welcome to the house of fun.

And many more.

Yes people have a different sense of humour ie "one man's meat is another man's poison"

Proved his point there. Sounds worse than an advert for a Miranda's best bits.

The salary cap is a set figure of £7 million per club per season and has nothing to do with income as in football
Useful info - wasn't aware of that.
But still don't get the ruling that you never broke the regulations - but ended up getting fined. (oh, and records show that you DID break the regulations!)

It's on a par with the French government saying that it was "mandatory" to carry approved breathalyser sticks when driving, but there is no penalty for NOT having them!

If you take a look at the conversation with Nick you will see that nobody has ever denied that Wasps spent over the salary cap so not sure what point your trying to prove?

Just for Offenhamskyblue i'll try to explain it again, if you have a player that represents England you get credits that you can spend on salaries so that you have enough players while they are away all of this has to be budgeted for at the start of the season, Wasps expected Nathan Hughes to missing for the whole of the six nations but due to injury he missed the whole tournament so they didn't receive the expected credits for him which resulted in Wasps be over the salary cap by 40K for which they received a 20K fine, there was never any suggestion that wasps were trying to cheat the system it's just a case of if you get your sums wrong you pay the price, this isn't something that only happens at wasps there are probably 3 or 4 clubs a season that this effects. I know some on here would like to say what we did is no different to what Saracens have done and technically it isn't and i totally understand why but the circumstances couldn't be any more different, Saracens for 3 years have broken the salary cap by approximately £1,780,000.00

Going Down[/QUOTE]

This is why the big push to get Sarries in the hope there is no relegation spot this season if they do

They won’t go down even with the deduction.

Their fucked were just sitting patiently ;)
We're just sitting patiently for a sporting franchise to go bust that our owners inadvertently gifted the stadium to. Oh great, this plan worked so well last time didn't it! The last 5/6 years has just been a complete waste of time.

Appreciate the concise explanation. Must have missed earlier posts. Sort of like a technical breach of a regulation rather than a material breach, i guess.

I mean a lot of our fans are sitting at home waiting patiently for us to die anyway.

so why can’t we wait for the parasites at the Ricoh die

Of course they are mate.

Next time your at the sty why don't you give a fisher a nudge about the new ground? That's the only realistic way out of this. After all sisu said they never wanted the ricoh didn't they?

That ship has sailed blah blah...

Genuinely, can you explain how as im struggling ?.

Wasps go bust, stadium gets handed back to the council...

1) Council offer to sell it to SISU - why would they buy it at market value, nothing in it for them to do that.
2) Council offer us expensive rent - back to where we were.
3) council offer us cheap rent - Doesn't solve our problem of 365 days income to build a squad and SISU have no assets
4) Council almost give SISU the stadium - I just cant see it,

What do people think will happen that will benefit the club ?

I mean they’re looking at woodlands. However the council aren’t supportive. But that’s only if you believe the new stadium rumours.

if you’re a bit dense like you appear to be - the actual way out of this is keeping the club running until Wasps cave. But we’ll leave that to the actual fans

it’s more than likely that it gets handed back to the council and SISU go back cap in hand for a rental deal which more than likely sends us back just before the rent strike - only doubtful it’ll be 1.2 million.

best we can hope for in the circumstances

Wouldn’t it be Wasps asset to sell? (Could we’ll be wrong, I know nothing on the subject). Can’t see us bidding against too many other buyers for it, if that is the case though.
