Let’s not try and pretend that we will not give Sunderland when they come to St Andrews any less tickets because of this reduction. I still expect them to be given 4-5000.

It’s funny, people like to say “we need every penny and people through the turnstiles” and then in the next breath-“Lets give Sunderland the same” :emoji_thinking:
Oh well, looks like the Sunderland home end as a last resort then.

No chance of home end they have already blocked ticket sales without a previous purchase history.

Well aren't their fans a joyful lot!

I have to say the minority of our fans were fine. Yet again it was the minority that spoiled the day (i.e the 50/3000 that were throwing objects to the lower tier which is bang out of order) and caused the reduction in away tickets.

I was looking forward to this one but not expecting the tickets to get to CCFC members sale...

So many morons on that forum. They say what happened was outrageous, we're scum, they hope we get our heads kicked in. That makes them better than twats on our side kicking off how?

They live off the idea that we kicked off out of nowhere at the Ricoh too. I was right by it starting and it was one of their fat twats ploughing through the railings that got things going. Plenty of decent fans there that day too, I was speaking to a guy in his 70s (meaning he was old enough to actually remember the '77 game) who said we deserved to win with the Chaplin chance at the end. Now because of a few inbreds giving it large on social media I have to have eyes in the back of my head to make sure my missus doesn't get a brick chucked at her. It's pathetic.

Or maybe...just maybe - given the goings on last season they have evaluated matters & decided that the cost of policing is optimised at that level of our fans attending as that will consist mostly of season ticket holders who are perhaps much more likely to be well-behaved?

Its a joke really and they should be thoroughly embarrassed.

Sunderland hadn't crossed anyone's mind down here until they started making threats before the Ricoh game. They then turned up and caused, by modern standards, a fair amount of trouble. How many other games have seen the memorial garden fenced up and Jimmy's statue guarded?

As LG says they were the ones that started the trouble after the match. Although the ridiculous system at the Ricoh of funnelling both sets of fans to a meeting point at the bottom of the car park played its part.

We then go up there and they make all sorts of claims but funnily enough in this day and age nothing is caught on video. We all know its moronic of the few idiots that chucked stuff but we all know its ridiculous to put away fans above home fans and have completely ineffective stewarding.

To then turn round and say you can't have tickets while making claims of our fans getting 'filled in' is absolutely pathetic.

Or maybe they could work out how to effectively police and steward and game. And in a ground that has 10K plus empty seats every game not have the away fans situated above the home fans.

Or look up "optimisation"

They can afford to give us token support & still fill their stadium or easily surpass break-even

Their forum has a level of seismic pant wetting not witnessed since the NZ rugby union coach gave his post match press conference last Saturday.

It’s hilarious that they genuinely believe that they’re a massive club and that their fans are model football fans - the guy standing and swearing at a statue says it all about them.

Whilst I don’t condone this made up rivalry - they seem to have had similar run ins with Pompey, Oxford, and a couple of other teams - labelling them as scum.

completely missing the point that their fans are the one common denominator

There were idiots in our stands last season no doubt but they are just a bunch of whinging women that feel the world Is against them

I’ve been a cov fan since the early 80s, and to be completely honest never gave Sunderland a second thought . I was only made aware of the hatred when they started spouting shit about jimmy hill and the memorial garden , seems to me they’ve manufactured the bad feeling and now are crying about it ..

Bunch of cry babies. If it was half as bad as they made it out to be and still make it out to be there would of been CCTV, videos showing hundreds of bottles, bags of shit etc being thrown from above. I haven’t seen one.

Less than 10 people were arrested and charged. Some might say that shows a lot. Sunderland fans will say it’s a mags police cover up...

Yes, and 'common' being the operative term. Bloody 'hoy' polloi.

So that's Coventry, Pompey, Oxford and Shrewsbury they've kicked off with in 6 months?
Yea but Coventry and Pompey and Oxford and Shrewsbury are the worst fans they've ever seen?! Talk about a victim complex. Dont think they're enjoying 3rd tier football (best get used to it)

Couldn't care less how many they give us or we give them, we'll just have another 4 points please and thanks.

It's ok they'll be gearing up for a big local derby in a few seasons and we'll all be forgotten again.

When they're playing their league fixtures against Gateshead that is
