But who is available and wouldn’t take 2-3 months to get up to speed?

A change of formation to 442 will solve things till January at least.
We’ve still got Hiwula, Bakayoko and Biamou to compete for the front 2 positions. (Yes I know they are all shite) but at least we will have 2 strikers in the box instead of 1.
What we really need is Calum Wilson to move for 70 million in January to allow us to buy another striker for the push for the playoffs. (Automatic promotion is already out of the question)

Got to say it's disappointing that you so crassly write players off (Max and Baka) who have performed so well for us over the last couple of games. We really do have some morons in our fan base. On the other hand kudos to those such as Rummermill who have admitted that Max has proved them wrong today.

I don’t think we need one given we have a few on our books and Bremang to step up too but... Is Ross McCormack still knocking about? Excepting for him costing a fortune, being unfit and having a supposed bad attitude - he might be the most likely of the limited numbers out there

I genuinely don’t get why Godden gets the response he does in comparison to the rest though. I don’t think he’s done much to suggest he’s a 20 a season striker and his awareness is terrible. I think we’ve got four decent L1 strikers who will all blow hot and cold but all are good for 15ish goals a season.
