5 at the back with our current injuries, we have no wingers, Mason as he is better defensively, I have no idea which midfielder with Kelly and O’Hare.
But allegedly we are almost back to full compliment - Godden and Hiwula likely to be fit

I expect us to take a battering. The midweek win papers over the cracks. We've got a very young team, McFadz and Kelly aside, and I don't think we have the experience to deal with a Posh team who are, quite frankly, rampant at the moment. I predict a 4-0 stuffing.

Thoughts?

I'd prefer like a tartan pattern as opposed to just lines across the pitch. Lazy.

A win would be a real statement of intent to the rest of the league.

Honestly though, just can't see it happening. 2-0 defeat and ensuing meltdown on here.

No meltdowns on here if we lose everyone.
But if we lose tomorrow and drop points at home to Accrington then you have my permission.

Nice to see you being positive

Have tickets, can't go as my house move has been moved to Sunday so have too much to do.

Will be delighted with a point

I’d like to see Bapaga given a go in a front three, not sure about in 532

Agree. He's played against two physical L2 sides in the FL trophy, and he has impressed in the couple of U23 games I have seen. He's going to feature in L1 at some point this season, and I think perhaps tomorrow he would be worth a punt. His pace on the break could be useful (we do seem to be lacking in pace in wide areas).

That said, if the forecast is to be believed and it's going to rain heavily for 15 hours before kick off, the game might be in doubt anyway.

I'm hoping we can repeat what we did to Sunderland last season.
However, my head says a 2-1 defeat.
If we get a penalty, I hope we find someone other than Hiwula or Westbrooke to take it.
Both of their previous penalties were very poor even though Westbrooke was lucky enough to score.

If we're playing a front three then Bapaga might suit one of the inside forward roles. With a two I think Bremang would be better suited.

You mean that penalty where the keeper went the right way and didn’t get a hand to it? You’re calling that a very poor penalty?

Start with Baka and Max up front. 30 minutes in bring Kastaneer on for Max (that way Kastaneer gets a 15 minute rest after 15 minutes of effort) and then bring Kastaneer off for Bremang with half an hour to go. Foolproof.

Sounds like a relay race !!

Peterborough Away hold a special place in my heart.

My wife organised a trip to the NEC wedding fair but her bridesmaid couldn't make it so I said I would take her.

As we were driving up from Gloucestershire the chief bridesmaid rang and said she had got out of work and could make it.

Like an absolute hero I 'begrudgingly' let her have my ticket and said I'd find something to occupy my time. Shot on to Peterborough to watch Cov win 1-0. Think John Stead scored. Great standing only away end. Then back in plenty of time to a pick up the missus
