Just to be clear, there were never any plans submitted to WDC for the Old Leamingtonians site.
Yet the Royal Leamington Archery club, who also used Old Leamingtonians, were given notice and kicked out just last month to make way for Wasps development.

It’s the valuation that supports the Bond and also the debt from the owner. Unless the latest valuation was fraudulent how could it be less?
The last valuation was taken at the end of March and includes CCFC as a tenant
Also I believe the valuation is based on future income streams - it excludes ( so far as I am told ) any remedial and upgrade costs

The same could've been said for Old Leams. Would love to know what's happened to those plans
My lad plays for Old Leams - OLs sent us a letter yesterday saying how disappointed they are that Wasps pulled out at the last minute due to them not being able to secure funding to go ahead!
Now they have gone even further away to Henley in Arden - they should go the whole hog and piss off to Henley on Thames - at least that would be closer to their true home!

Can't believe they don't get any shit for the way they treat everyone else. First it was moving into Higgs to potentially kill off our academy, then they make promises to Old Leamingtonians before breaking them but not before the archery club have been evicted to make way for them.

They're also gone from a £7m state of the art (think the phrase best in Europe was mentioned at one point) facility to a shared facility to a refurb of a college facility. In the process taking it out of public use, something else they seem to get a free pass on.

As a local commentator he’s better. Oggy has been a revelation in offering insight, knowledge on football and especially ccfc related knowledge - they are a great team
Oggy is decent and overall the quality has improved, but at times he does talk a fair amount of cliche drivel.

London Wasps 26 - 29 - London Irish (relegation favourites)

London Irish 7 - 41 Sale
Gloucester 25 - 9 London Wasps

I don't know rugby, is this good?

"It was horrible conditions but Wasps looked uncomfortable, incohesive, technically nervous and never in the game.

So many cameo's - Danny and Joe running the show, Joe bashing two past us. So many Wasps signings from down under - they worked hard but achieved little.

With a third of the magnificent England team today in Yokohama made up of Sarries, and none from Wasps, you really feel there is bad stuff happening if we suffer two defeats now.

Plus the team that beat us at home last week got eviscerated at home by Sale today.

If I was a Roman soothsayer I'd be heading for the wine bar.

But the bigger picture is Wasps under the bonds, Midlands move and overseas hire programme has not worked for 4 years. And now, seems surely the experiment has to end. Where it goes will be dictated by the full year results out soon for year to June 2019. And how our investors react."

He gets shouted down on the forum for his negativity, mostly by one of their recent fans called Matt. I think Matt must be Ginettas long lost cousin as shows all the same traits

Are Leicester poor this year? Do they have any World Cup players? Lost both games and no points. I think only one team is relegated so I hope they can up their game.

If Wasps are down there, which looks likely, a lot of us are going to be following this. The daft thing is. if they cleared off back South, i'd never follow their results again.

Leicester will improve after the world cup as they are missing Ben Youngs, Dan Cole, Ellis Genge, Jonny May and George Ford all of which walk into their first 15 (they will lose them for the 6 nations as well), although it has to be added they had all these players last season and only managed to stay up by the skin of their teeth.

Possible but not likely, I think three teams battling relegation could be Leicester, Worcester and London Irish, top four will be Saracens (providing they don't get done for breaking the salary cap) Exeter, Gloucester and Northampton, the other 5 teams could finish in absolutely any order from 5th to 9th.

I think you overestimating your teams chances. The feeling where I work is London Irish and wasps will be going toe to toe to stay in the league. Just repeating what I’m being told.

How long do you think use will be sustainable at the rate it’s going ? Attendances low, poor results & bonds due to be paid ?

Surely it can’t carry on the way it’s going ?

Bonds taking another hammering today. Down almost 4% at the moment.

Sorry over 4%. Just refreshed the page. XD
If the bonds are shite though, does that mean the loan to repay them is less? I need to be clear as I'd hate to be cheering them on the wrong way :)

Fair questions, bond will just be paid through refinancing, results will improve as there is a good crop of youngsters coming through but this squad will improve as the season goes on, as I said could be anywhere from 5th to 9th, attendances will fluctuate inline with results. its also cheaper to prop up a rugby club than a football club, quite a bit of that question could also asked off CCFC, low attendances, higher rent against lower income, good results to be fair but how long can they sustain this?
