MK form is pretty wretched so I think we will win anyway tbh

I think it's a bad idea not to play Kelly, given we lost 4-0 in our last away game and left our back 4 continually exposed.

Not so bothered about Mason as I think Mccallum is decent.

Hopefully Baka seizes his opportunity!

We could really do with an early goal in this game. Not sure we'll get it though.

I wonder if MR and Mason had words about the opener at Rotherham?
It was a bad mistake but by no means the worse on the day unless he is carrying a knock.

Kelly not fully fit yet, otherwise he'd be in. So that's only really one big decision - and we don't know if Mason is maybe carrying a knock.
Kelly played 35 minutes 2 weeks ago vs Rotherham and was fit enough to play 90 minutes at FGR 11 days ago. Without Godden or McFadzean in the team we don't have a single player over 25 years old in that starting XI although many of them have plenty of league experience already. I'd rather we played Kelly for 60 mins and sub him off at 3-0 up if he's knackered. MK's form is dire but we've also yet to win away.

Perhaps having a midweek fixture this week against a decent Fleetwood side has influenced the decision?

Win comfortably and the choices will seem inspired anyway!

Shouldn't be on the bench if it's injury related, rather have Bapaga there when we have Watson to cover in emergency. Robins has made no secret about how highly he rates McCallum though - if he was going to give him a couple of games to progress his development I suppose home to Tranmere and away to MK would be, on paper, as good an opportunity as any.

How come Dabo isn't suspended? Thought he picked up his 5th booking last week? Or was one of them in the FLT?

Fullbacks will have to do a lot of work today - might be tough to break down their 4-2-3-1 through the middle with our 4-3-3
