Error...yes & he is an Italian - not Italy.

Plus from what I have seen he hasn't exactly embraced the Euro, just resigned himself to it!

...hence why I said he had dropped his anti Euro stance, he described it as a vote loser.

May has already been down this path and Boris is clearly doing the same things expecting different results. Apparently the UUP has come out and said that Northern Ireland would be better of remaining in the EU today also.

I imagine they’ll just repeal it or something, doubt anything will come of it. But yeah they should. I just worry about anything that comes across as dirty tricks to stop Brexit. Needs to be a referendum really, politically no one will gain from it long term otherwise. Even a referendum will piss off a lot, but not having one will piss off just as many of not more.

I dunno, this leading Brexiter isn’t a fan of the deal ;)



In all seriousness, as I said before, if he gets it through fair play. It’s a terrible deal that will make us all poorer, but I didn’t see anyone getting the DUP to agree to separate NI.

Project fear, things will be rough at the start but they will pick up! Deal is much better than no deal

Two facts:

1) this deal is no deal in all but name. Economically it’s pretty much the worst it could be with a deal.

2) Lost growth is lost forever. That’s how compound interest works. If you lose 5% now in thirty years it’s equivalent to a lot more even if you return to previous levels.

Be clear that what you’re asking for will make us all poorer and reduce public services. You believe that’s a fair trade off for, something (still not genuinely sure what, happy to be informed).

This version of a deal is all about protecting businesses and will do absolutely nothing for the average person.

DUP has reiterated their previous statement that they can’t support the deal as it stands since Boris has announced that a deal is done.
