Its like the telegraph are scared to mention that wasps are wrong in anything when in reality they are the main reason we are where we are! People that are also saying on the radio that we should sign a long term deal to stay at St Andrews and not move back to the ricoh are also part of the problem, it's like they have accepted it just because we are playing well

Looks a bit like a PR Piece that's a bit sparse with the truths.

'Put them back on show where they belong' Coventry City comment

There wasn't even a pitch at the Ricoh when our season started.

It says the owners need to bring us back but no mention of Wasps?

"aside from the fact that it’s plain wrong to be playing at St Andrew’s, or any other groundshare for that matter."
And conveniently forgetting that the Ricoh is also a groundshare.

But that’s losing sight of the bigger picture, and ignoring a few facts.

The turf at the Ricoh was relaid in the summer and, with Wasps’ season barely begun, is, by all accounts, in pristine condition.

So had City been at their rightful base this season the players would have enjoyed an equally immaculate surface in their opening ten games and for a couple more months yet before the wear and tear of rugby and the winter weather begin to take their toll.

Ironic really as it's ignoring the fact the pitch wasn't done until we were about 4 or 5 games in was it?

To be fair it would be nice to know what the actual plan is to return to Coventry and since the Ricoh ain’t happening it must be a new ground. So where are the plans?

YEAH BUT YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT 5 THINGS THAT HAPPENED NEXT WHEN THINGS TO DO WITHIN 5000 MILES OF COVENTRY LIVE UPDATES THOUGH

We joke, but they literally go with headlines that work. If people didn’t click on that shit (and I’m as guilty as anyone) they wouldn’t use it.

I’m designing Google ads at work ATM and it’s depressing what headlines work on people.

This is why we need local bloggers!!!

If you're doing Google ads with silly headlines, I'd suggest you're doing it wrong. Click-through-rates are largely determined by relevant headline, keyword, landing page experience. Anyone telling you otherwise is a blag-artist.

Decent headline that. I'd capitalise 'wrong' and 'blag-artist' though. Possible 'silly' too, not sure.

I think it’s bizarre!! Ask wasps if we can come back and push them on the indemnity question then maybe a story but this is weird

Andy Turner should be fuckjng ashamed of himself-what a shoddy piece of journalism that really is a snipe at City and supporting (YET AGAIN) the London Rugby Club that swiped the stadium built BY & for our club.

How can he say it’s costing more to play at St Andrews? Does anyone really know it definitely is? He mentions 1 million quid and he sounds like an Austin Powers nemesis!!

I’d rather pay Brum the money than give it to those scabby squatters-I don’t want them benefitting from a move back to our ‘home’.

He also mentions that it will impact on the quality of the signings in the future-if we go up I fucking doubt that SISU ,having already put up significant cash for players this summer will leave us out to dry.

The club clearly , more than anytime during our absence from the Premiership , have a transfer and scouting strategy. The move to Brum has not derailed this.

The pitch being re-laid over the summer is another cleverly twisted fact that is wrong.

Clearly missing the fact that since we have played at the Ricoh W*sps have done nothing in the way of pitch management that benefits the playing of football (as is their right). It’s always been a hindrance to the way Robins wants city to play.

It definitely was a slow news day when he wrote it.

We use responsive ads to trial various headlines and snippets. Consistently the click bait style ones get the best click throughs (click bait as in uses the word free rather than without). Our LPs are fine, high quality score and well above average conversion rates. We currently only advertise on one keyword (much to my chagrin)

There seems to be some panicky stuff going on. Presume it's been triggered by shit ticket sales from wasps or something. Weird accounts, that psb group bollocks and now this.

I'd like to say they're going bust soon but OSB seems to think that despite their challenges, its unfortunately not as bad as we'd hope. At least I think that's what I remember from one of his posts.

No is my opinion they won’t be here in 5 years. There debt is unmanageable and will eventually catch them up as there owner can’t continue to fund them unless some other fool comes along. I think they will struggle to stay in there league next season and with gates falling year in year it’ll come to a head within 12-24 months.
