Through choice?
We don’t know do we? That’s what lots of people are assuming that there was/is no other option.
We all know that 3 parties are involved-people report that they knows the “facts” and “its different this time” because of them “facts”, when in reality the only people that do know the truth and are party to what went on are the people from Wasps/Council and CCFC and not you it I or anyone on this forum.
Like I keep saying the only one true FACT that we are all definitely party too is the one where we have been moved out of the City for a second time. No rumours around that at all.

It’s not assumption - we know the sticking point is Wasps want indemnifying if it turns out something is wrong with the sale. That’s not assumption or rumour it’s fact.

The Club and wasps said a commercial deal was agreed but we couldn’t agree on the indemnification. Any sane city fan should back the club in this instance

Cwr just said Birmingham city not keen to extend our rental beyond this season
I know somebody at BCFC and there more than happy to help CCFC out. Don’t know what clive Eakins been told but that’s not what I’m hearing. There happy with the arrangement and making money out of it. There’s a bit more why they are helping CCFC out but that’s for another day.

I can’t see how being at St Andrews has any detrimental effect to BCFC , they are getting income every week ( as long as SISU pay ) yes the pitch needs a bit more work than usual but it looks ok to me .

There seemed to be quite a few groups of fans that had obviously had too many shandys

Yeah I had some utter fuckwits behind me.

Steaming drunk youngsters. 18/19 year old reprobates.

Non stop profanity and idiot commentary.

Apparently they were going to kick the referees head in after the game.

Give me strength.

Clive did say it.... but then back tracked from it. From that I feel sure Blues have commented about not wanting us next season.... Burton anyone?

some right idiot fans there today. Kicking off with each other. Seen 2 fights today. no need for it

That was happened a lot a couple of seasons ago. I remember being at Cheltenham away during the season we got promoted and seeing a group of lads give an old boy a hiding because he was apparently sitting in one of their seats. The same lads also gave another fan a kicking at Forest Green.

....and people use to complain there were no pubs nearby the Ricoh Arena. It's certainly easier to get to a pub outside St Andrews.

Had my worst journey yesterday. Villa at home against Burnley and loads of traffic coming in from the north on A38.
Missed my pint in the Roost before the game.

I was there for that too. Bloke took a right beating at Cheltenham. stewards are useless, get fans in the right seat and do your job. not hard

Right CCFC54321, it's another day, so please can you expand on this teasing bit of info!!??? Is it related to CCFC, or more BCFC related... or both!!
Cheers in advance!:emoji_thumbsup:

I assume its the NEC rumour

NEC to be smashed down to build a shared 40k stadium

The Blues Sky blues arena.
Or to sell it better. City to merge with Birmingham City. Both teams into one.

For parity and balance, as both teams play in blue, we will continue to play in sky blue. They will retain the City from Birmingham City name and we will keep the Coventry from Coventry City, therefore making the new team Coventry City.

Equal and fair me thinks.

It’s never going to happen but there is land by the NEC and a ground share between the two clubs is the rumour

It would be an ideal location but it’s fantasy

I suppose it’s equi distant (ish) up the road from Allesley

Sell St Andrews for a good few bob.

I would hope Blues fans welcome this rumour

The thing I do like about the NEC is that it is just 10 mns by train from Coventry.
