so Keogh was in the back seat, but both Bennett and Lawrence have been charged with drink driving. Was it a dual control car?

2 cars hit each other and one ended up wrapped round a lamp post from my understanding of it. I assumed team mates racing each other after a night out.

(true story). A couple of weeks ago a bloke driving a yellow Renault (down here in Dorset) narrowly avoided disaster when an large oak tree blew over in the wind and collapsed onto the road in front of him. The car was slightly damaged but he was OK.

The local paper/website reported the incident, and various people left comments on the article , mainly saying how luck he was etc.

The best comment however simply read 'Tie a yellow Renault round the old oak tree"

Lucky escape for pair after three-tonne oak topples – just a day after major event on the road was cancelled

It’s lucky Keogh was in the back seat as he has no driving licence. There can’t be many people if his age who have never learnt to drive

It has also emerged that Keogh does not drive and it is understood he has never passed his test.

This seems the maddest bit

Is strange that two were arrested? Would have thought if there were two cars involved the story might have mentioned it?

unless one already has similar convictions and the other made out they were driving to take the blame? That could make sense? Unless one of the arrests wasn’t for a driving offence?

Two cars collided.

It's not like these lads can't afford a taxi/pay someone to drive. Captain should be taking away the keys, not climbing in the car with them.
They turned down club laid on cars to stay out drinking.

I think it's just that page that omits it, BBC report says 'Police said a Range Rover Sport and a Mercedes GLC had collided'

But I don’t think it’s the drinking of alcohol that’s the problem here is it,
the problem is the drinking and driving ‘which is always avoidable.
Exactly. Young men have a tendency to do some pretty daft things and a bit of ale only adds fuel to the fire.

Well yes, but the value does depend on how angry they want to get as if the players have some value, then Derby'll have to get really, *really* angry to get rid.

Puts Hickman's indescretions into perspective, mind!

Hickman would have been left week behind in his s reg Fiat Punto
