we need to push on and give ourselves a bit of a buffer zone from 3rd if we are to be serious incase we do go on a tiny slip up, that way least if does happen we dont dropped a shit load of positions and have to struggle to try get back to 2nd.

The main different Coventry is that we have Godden, without him we would not be relegation meat but mid table. Who could come in to replace his excellence ? erm no one

make Godden captain

Because they can see the pattern of play with the ball and opposition mainly in front of them. With Godden the ball will mainly be behind him, and his concentration should be on getting in goalscoring positions, not worrying about whether the back four have pushed up enough or people are out of position etc. Kane is the exception, rather than the rule. Bobby Moore should still be captain in my opinion.

Yes, but is he a good captain? England don’t seem to have any natural leaders (Henderson?) and to me, Kane is captain by default.

He can get team going , I see what your all saying ref play behind him but as a striker he should be and this guy does look at the build up , his goal and reaction said it all on Saturday

That’s just rubbish. He’s significantly better than Baka but the best thing about the start we’ve made is there are excellent performances across the pitch.

Reasons for hope

Marosi
Mason
Dabo
Rose
Mcfaz
Kelly
Walsh yes on one game
Westbrook
Shipley
Godden absolutely but not totally
