A very similar player to McNulty, although I don't think Sparky could do it on his own upfront like Godden does.

I thought we might have paid over the odds for him when he signed-it look like I was wrong. To get him for less than we sold Chaplin (if estimates on fees are to be believed) seems like a fantastic bit of wheeler-dealing.

And to think he wasn't apparently first choice.

Not sure of your logic there, just because someone doesn’t know everything that is happening at a club doesn’t mean they don’t know anything.

Couple of posters on here have certainly mentioned names / things before they become public knowledge.

Not sure why people are so dismissive of others that share things they find out.

No they didn’t, see my first point. Not knowing everything isn’t the same as knowing nothing. Nobody is going to know every single thing that’s going on, not even the players.

Personally I enjoy the snippets, whether they end up panning out or not. Obviously there are some blaggers that just make shit up, but some don’t (seem to).

Panda’s cryptic Kyle Walker hint for example, ok it didn’t happen but it was obvious there had been something going on.

I have called out pricks claiming we will be back , it’s not fair that people bullshit , have an opinion but no bullshit about player or Ricoh returns

One of the strangest posts I’ve seen for a while. Firstly, people do occasionally hear about transfers in advance. That’s been proven because it’s actually happened numerous times on this page. Perhaps on this occasion the powers that be decided not to tell a particular source that has passed on info previously.

And second, he is nothing like the style of Giroud?! But anyway, looks a real honest player who is committed and can finish. PUSB.

I agree with you Back Room on Godden - strong and skilful. But why the need to diss one of our players coming back from a very serious injury? A player who really stepped up in our promotion season. I don't get it.

Godden has now scored more league goals in the last 2 games, than Biamou scored in the entire promotion season. (And at a higher level)
It makes me wonder why there is such a big fan following for Biamou, no disrespect to Max, and I know he gives 100%, but there’s no escaping the fact that we’ve missed a natural scorer.
