O'Hare has Luke Thomas’ work rate, and is technically very good. Great to have him, needs to start next week.
Walsh was ok in first half, good in second half.
Kastaneer missed when through on goal but then decided to shoot weakly from outside the box which was very stupid, allowing Blackpool to get it forward. He doesn’t seem very intelligent.

Hiwalu had his best game of the season by far today possibly with jobello so I shall give them a 7

Walsh started slow but when he grew into the game he was honestly magnificent 9

Gooden worked his socks of as per tried a few crafty things should of had more chances but he can only work with what he has 8

The rest 8

Marosi 6 thought he was a bit slow off his line for their second, otherwise his footballing ability is good for us
Dabo 6
McFadzean 6 keeps going for the same ball at Dabo
Rose 7
McCallum 6 don't agree that he was having a bad time, think he's dealing quite well with a baptism of fire
Walsh 7 gave the ball away for their second but dominated the game thereafter, comfortable going both ways
Westbrooke 5 too passive, doesn't impose himself at all and indecisive
Shipley 6 not his best game but he made quite a few interceptions, passing was a bit laboured
Hiwula 6 worked hard but we spend too much time fucking about instead of looking for his movement
Jobello 6 good finish for the goal but crossing poor, got on the ball a lot more though which is good
Godden 7 worked hard and when he got his chance buried it

Subs
O'Hare 7 everything that Westbrooke isn't
Kastaneer 6 should have scored really
Hyam n/a

Marosi 7 gives us an option to go back and retain possession. Commanding.
Dabo 7 high energy, solid defensively
Mcfadz 7 good assist to change up the slow passing
Rose 7 solid and I like his forays forward
McCallum 6 always available but still naive at times
Walsh 6 started by giving away every long pass but much better second half
Shipley 7 always tries to be positive
Westbrooke 6 nearly a 7 but sometimes the clever passes didnt work
Jobello 7 very weak at times but makes the pitch wide and technically good. Should not try and run past people bigger or faster than him.
Hiwulla 7 wasnt involved much but two assists
Gooden 7 hard working reminds me of vardy without the pace

O hare 7 very good player, great feet

Shipley MOTM for me thought he was brilliant. Don’t see why people are giving anything lower than an 8. Hiwula also class today.

It’s city fan off Twitter

Beginning to think some people are very blinkered re Westbrooke. He was at least 6, Shipley maybe a 5. Walsh started slowly but certainly grew into the game.
OHare deffo a 7 albeit a cameo.

Marosi 6 - probably should have done better for both goals, passing is good even if it does make me nervous
Dabo 6 - too rash in the challenge, can see him getting another red card this season. Gets forward well.
Rose 7 - Solid, passing a bit dodgy at times
McFadzean 6 - Not convinced yet, passing suspect and some weird decisions
McCallum 7 - poor first 40 but extra marks for how impressively he grew into the game, very mature second half
Westbrooke 5 - Like him but goes missing too often and doesn’t effect the game enough
Shipley 8 - Where has the Shipley of the last gone? Looks a mile ahead of previous seasons.
Walsh 6 - lovely passed but isn’t a defensive mid, badly at fault for the second goal and struggled to contain Blackpool’s physical players but creatively a step above anything we have.
Jobello 7 - another one who has a poor opening 40 but grew into the game. Would like him to be a bit more willing to get stuck in but shows for the ball well and can take deny he creates chances. Great finish.
Hiwula 6 - typical Hiwula performance, anonymous for large spells but assisted two goals and could have had two himself.
Godden 8 - if we find a way of consistently getting him involved in the game then he’ll score a hatful this season. Scoring from the situation he did was brilliant and didn’t really put a foot wrong otherwise. 750k looks a bargain.

O’Hare 7 - who needs Bright? Looks a great player
Kastaneer 5 - has to finish that
Hyam 6 - solid

Walsh gave the ball away several times trying Hollywood balls, one leading to the second.

Second half proved he is a good footballer and it was probably nerves/rustiness.
As did shipley by attempting simple balls. Sorry but walsh was clearly better tgan shipley.

In my current dream team I'd like to see Kelly, Allen, Walsh, O'Hare on the pitch at the same time (once Kelly is fit). How would Robins accommodate this?

I guess for once it's a great problem too have - class ball players in midfield.

O'Hare is different class and too good for this level. Electric in everything he does.

We have to find a way of making chances for Godden - he's absolute class but too isolated in the way we play.

Hiwula - the enigma. 2 class assists again today but goes missing.

Shout out to McCallum - baptism of fire last weekend but decent today. He has a future in the game.

Kastaneer - could have cemented his cult hero status today. Should have finished. But looks very dynamic, fast and direct = great option in the final third of the game.

At 2-0 down I would not have put any money on a 3-2 win (just like Nick I thought it was going to be a very painful afternoon) - fantastic effort by the lads - we never gave up in our belief in playing possession football from the back and with Walsh starting to run midfield we played Blackpool off the park in the second half.

We're not the finished article - quite a few flaws - but it's very exciting and I love the commitment to playing the right way.

Agree 57 with all your points. Except I'd give O'Hare a 9. Big influence every time he had the ball, always looking for the ball even in tight spaces, technically brilliant, fast and made Blackpool further retreat as soon as he came on.

Marosi - 7 good save before their second his passing is integral to our whole game
Dabo - 7 excellent second half got caught out first half
McCallum - 7 same as above. Some really excellent passing. A star in the making for me
Rose - 7 excellent on the ball again. Slow turning for Blackpool second
McFadzean - 7 worth his place for his ordering and barking
Westbrook - 7 started well I love his intentional passing
Shipley - 7 everywhere different role but never stopped harrying second half
Walsh - 8 my mom. At fault for second goal but his passing and movement were exceptional. His step over and turn at the start of the second half was a thing of beauty
Hiwula - 7 upped his game enormously. 2 assists you can’t argue with
Jobello - 6 goal was a cracker. Confidence player without the pace to do what he wants
Godden - 7 got us back in the game with an opportunistic Goal. Never stops. No replacement so important he doesn’t get injured

Ohare - 7 don’t get the clamour for him to start so effective off the bench and doesn’t play the roles the other midfielders play

Kastaneer - not long enough but should have scored

Crowd were excellent and carried the players but only because they were so good second half with the tempo and effort.

First 20 we looked like we’d be smashed but we so deserved the win by the end

Too many on here are used to saying we are rubbish that they just repeat it as Infinitum and previously they were right. This year is different

Agree with everything Pete 100% except that O'Hare is far too good not to start. The only question (as I think you are also hinting at) is in what position.

Think this sums it up pretty good for me - may be knock a point of Rose but only for the first 20 mins when he looked a bit panicked. IMO best we've seen Jobello play but he was given more of a chance on the ball.

Shipley MOTM for me thought he was brilliant. Don’t see why people are giving anything lower than an 8. Hiwula also class today.
Must say coming back in the car tonight Shipley was certainly up there for MOTM with us.

Morosi (7) His passing from the back is so calm and measured.
Dabo (6) I expected a second yellow after the first. His tackling is a bit iffy at times, and he seemed short on confidence but got forward well.
Rose (7) Solid, calm. Should have fot that free header on target though.
McFadz (8) Seems so relaxed with the ball at his feet, and even when someone is tearing down on him he makes times. Great calming influence.
McCallum (6.5) Can see some good things in him, but wasn't a standout today
Westbrooke (6) Solid, but fairly average.
Shipley (6) Same as above.
Walsh (6) Didn't think he was as good as others seem to, but he did a job.
Jobello (6) Possibly the most average player I've seen in years, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. You know what you get.
Hiwula (7) Good game today. Ran his socks off.
Godden (7.5) Works hard and scores. What more can you ask for?
