All pretty much average, poor game in general but that shouldn’t distract from the positives of some young lads getting some game time and doing ok. Too much sloppy passing in the middle. A few comments below, trying to rate them tonight feels like hard work.

O’Hare looked a different class with his driving runs at times but seemed to get hacked down before he could come up with an end product. Looking forward to seeing Kelly, Allen & O’Hare together.

Baka was disappointing again.

Max, would have liked to have seen at least half an hour of him on the pitch, needs more game time and should be the back up to Godden.

Williams looked confident enough alongside Fadz, happy for him to be on the bench if one of Faz, Rose & Hyam pick up an injury.

Bapaga, confident enough to run at, and beat, people when he came on but could have play in Max rather than shoot at one point.

McCallum, solid, clearly improving all the time and happy for him to be playing when Mason is injured.

Wakefield, for someone who is meant to have the pace of Usain Bolt on the wing I can’t remember him running at anyone or trying to put a cross in (not that Usain Bolt could cross from what I heard of his time in Australia)

Keeper 7 couple decent saves
Watson 6 fairly solid
Williams 6 poor on ball
Mcfaz 6 solidish and organised but one moment got destroyed for pace , couple of times almost got caught out ala Pompey and a few shocking passes
McCallum 7
Eccles 7 when plays forward he’s decent still drops too deep and plays backwards too much for me
Bartlett 4 poor player
Wakefield 5 not having him as first team player
O’hare 7 hacked down whenever through
Kast 5 unfit /and all over shop
Baka 4 enough said

Agree with most of these score. Especially your comments on Wakefield and Bartlett. Bapaga you missed off your list.

Only did starting xi but I liked what I saw from bapaga but he’s still not up to first team level yet.

Wilson - 6 - couple of saves for the camera
Watson - 6 - solid
Williams - 7 - pretty good, cpvered a few McFadz mistakes
McFadzean - 5 - Caught out a few times, no pace. Hyam and Rose first choice for me
McCallum - 7 - neat and tidy
Eccles - 7 - looked good, won a few tackles, some nice passes
Bartlett - 4 - passenger for most of it, looked out of his depth
Wakefield - 6 - some nice play in the first half but not involved 2nd half
O’Hare - 8 - best player on the pitch by a mile. Some quality on the ball but the biggest surprise was his work rate, never stopped running and chasing down. deserves a start on sat
Kast - 5 - not sure if he was unfit or uninterested (or both)
Baka - 6 - had no service, but a couple of good moments

Burroughs - 5 - looked like a competition winner the first few times he touched the ball
Bapaga - 6 - very bright on the ball but poor end product
Max - NA, not sure he even touched thr ball

Keeper couple of decent moments. Defence ok and Ohare worked his docks off ib the middle. Up front poor, but special mm ention for Baka whi was absolutely shocking. Wont score 20 goals here in his time let alone in a season. Knew he'd miss his pen too.

Atrocious game, but one ridiculous pen from their number 11 who nearly hit the top tier. So bad.

Kinda wish I'd stayed at home tbh.

Ahh but they mean Usain Bolt when he was a 7 year old

Wilson - 6 did OK, couple of decent saves, couple of scary moments knocking is around the back

Watson - 6 Solid enough defensively. Seems to slow things down going forward and not particularly useful.

Williams - 6 Thought he was OK. Seemed calm and OK distribution. Happy for him to be back up

McFadz - 7 caught a couple of times at the back, but generally solid and some great passes out from the back.

McCallum - 7 Solid if not spectacular

Eccles - 7 some nice touches, would like to see him put his foot in more as a DM. Not good enough to replace Kelly so glad we’ve got Walsh in

Bartlett - 5 Anonymous really

O’Hare - 7 Kicked to bits and never got going

Kastaneer - 6 some bright spots but selfish and some terrible decision making. Plus that back pass.

Wakefield - 6 Did some good chasing down, seems to aim for getting a corner with his crosses so hard to judge. Didn’t beat his man enough or use his speed enough for me

Baka - 6 OK first half, some good chasing down. Like the whole team was quieter second half, seemed to get a bit more life on the left

Subs

Burroughs - 4 Looked like a fan dropped on the pitch. Don’t think he actually completed a pass.

Bapaga - 6 Some nice runs and a couple of very tame shots but at least on target which is more than anyone else can say. Would like to see him get some time off the bench this season.

Biamou - 5 didn’t do much really.
