I want one!

To be fair, it was such a dull race that you probably could have gone and nicked it, and everyone would have been to busy dozing off to notice.

Come to think of it, that alone would have made the whole race hilarious. Getting to the podium ceremony and finding out the winning trophy had been nicked!

Massive F1 fan here!. Nailed on Lewis victory this weekend, Silverstone plays massively into Mercedes hands. Can see McLaren again doing well. How long until Lewis catches The GOAT record for wins?

Vettel had a mare there.

If you look at his career, he's always had that mistake in him under pressure.

Kubica, Australia 2010. Webber, Turkey 2010. Button, Belgium 2010. Canada 2011, slid off and Button won on the last lap. Baku 2017, lost his head behind the safety car. And now the catalogue of errors since Germany last year. He loses his cool when he has to fight someone. When he's on pole and can run off into clear air, he's blistering. But when he needs to fight for it, he cracks.

How good was the fight between Leclerc and Verstappen though? If that's the future, then yes please. I'll have any amount of that.

Completely barmy! I couldn't help but hear Murray Walker's voice screaming "OH MY GOODNESS, THIS IS FANTASTIC!" in my head when Leclerc, Hamilton and Bottas all went off. In fact, Murray Walker may have been the only thing that could have made any of these three races better!

Max is starting to seem the real deal now. He is going to be special if he isnt already! And glad to see redemption for Vettel after hockenheim last season. Isnt F1 great when the Mercedes are nowhere!

There's been a horrendous crash at the top of the hill coming out of Raidillon in the F2 race, which had been red flagged and will not restart. That's not a good sign, but let's hope both Drivers emerge not too badly hurt.

As soon as it happened i didnt see him surviving that. Had the same immediate aftermath as Jules Bianchi. RIP young man. Wouldnt be surprised to see the F1 cancelled

It was horrific. We were down by Pouhon, saw it on the screen. So many emergency vehicles came past you just knew it was a bad one.

Could feel the mood around the track change as people realised the extent of it. Very flat now it’s been confirmed. RIP Hubert and thoughts are with Correa too, can’t imagine how he’ll feel

I had a feeling when they announced it wasn't going to restart. That's never a good sign. I can only try and imagine how it must have felt for you and everyone there, and of course you're right, what Correa is going through.

I've had many a debate with people over the sheer genius and athleticism of motorsport drivers, especially single seater open wheel cars. Yes many people may find it 'boring' but there is no denying these men have the biggest balls imaginable and the peak of athletes in sporting terms.

RIP to the young man
