Agree, but the way we invited them in in the final 25 mins we were asking for it. How many corners did they have, about 70?
I agree, but even that would have worked if it wasn’t for two stupid mistakes. Dabo can be forgiven because it was a moment of madness and he is young, and had a lot of positives.

Kelly on the other hand is the most senior member of the squad and got bullied my Mackie all game then did something stupid at the end. So frustrating

I’ve said this before - Dabo is a liability, when he’s played well he’s been brilliant, it he’s nearly cost us against Pompey, then today - look at the third goal... it was his man who scored the third

He wasn’t anything like as bad as McCallum for losing his man. Their right winger had that side to himself at times.

Hyam had a good game, the rest of the defensive players not so much IMO.

A point away from home after not playing well.
O'Hare looked fantastic.
Allen to come in and complete our midfield.
Godden is class.
Completely uncharacteristic error by Kelly - who is our best player every week - if not we'd be celebrating a smash and grab victory.
Plenty of positives.
Let's move onto the next game.

Not having that at all. The second goal is obviously on him but that third one was Kelly completely. He was also arguably our most dangerous attacking outlet...one assist and how many more counter attacks did he have a hand in? If you think he’s a liability then you’re clueless

Fuckin' hell. Why is anyone looking at the league place as if it means anything at this stage?

We're 3 points off 10th place too, just to add some balance.
What it means is were 2 points further away from our aim for the season. Oxford were good as I have seen this season but why Kelly did not just hold his man in the corner I will never know. Onwards and I hope upwards but that feels like two points lost in the end as much as the Portsmouth game felt like a point gained. Net result -1.

The Match ratings for an away draw will be at record lows when you read this thread. Think it’s only the keeper, two centre backs and Godden not critised

Agree. I just want our best players in the team, McFadzean, Mason, Allen etc, then we’ll start to see what we’re really made of. But so far so good.

4th and unbeaten, sure that won't be enough to stop the usual overreaction
An over reaction would be to call for the managers head. To say were a sh*t team. An out poring of disappointment at conceding 2 goals in really preventable circumstance is fair enough.

A very cliche post.

Many on here happy to lose a lead twice , it could have been a smash and grab a decent gaffer would have seen it through .
Nobody is happy to lose a lead.

What could Robins have done? He can't stop a stupid own goal or Kelly diving in. Do you think he's instructed the players to go out there and do those things?

At the start I expected a loss just because I know how good Oxford are at 50 mins expecting the win so disappointed not to win and at the same time not happy we drew but it is what it is, one thing I am very unhappy about is mckay being on the pitch guy is and always will be a thug.

5 games... if he’d made 2 glaring mistakes from 15-20 games I’d agree. But 5 games. One costing us a win and the other nearly costing us.
Whatever the outcome of those mistakes, they were still a limited number of errors. Kelly is our most senior and steady player yet still made a mistake that cost us 2 points.

Blaming Dabo and writing him off after 5 games seems a little premature given that he had looked like a damn good player for most of his time on the pitch. There were far worse players on the pitch than Dabo today.

I would like to see a change for Hiwula or Jobello too many games were just carrying them no defensive support it sounds today and no support for Godden...O’Hare needs to be starting hearing he was brilliant today we need someone who can get hold of the ball & create.
