Back page of times today " US investors close in on Sunderland " looks like a private deal with American billionaire Dell (25th richest in world)

They had a super rich owner in Ellis Short who pumped millions in, their problems aren't related to money

Good for them. personally whilst I wouldn’t mind a bit of investment to buy a ground and compete a little, having billions chucked at you just creates another plastic outfit Remember when Man City were a real club?

Couldn’t care less really other than they might get enough money to buy their way out the division and take up one of the promotion places that we are fighting for.

All about what happens on the field -this season - despite being bought they need to get promoted - we can play a part in ensuring this doesn’t happen by taking 6 points off them
