hopefully jobello is fit and we can play this guy in midfield

looks like he tries hard to in the tackle at least bit like luke thomas

allen i think is training again but sat prob come to soon

RB only issue at mo. my rivalry with jordan clarke could be reignited but id be happy if he returns and give him benefit of doubt. i just hated him as a CB and he suffered from the DKE thing of fans over estimating his talent because hes small and tries hard, dont remember him being any good going forwards really but could be solid rb back up for dabo i guess. for 1 game though i wouldnt mind a CB playing there and hope we have enough to score past gills
I wouldn't play Jobello in front of an inexperienced RB!!! He dosnt track back at the best of times, and we would be horribly exposed,
I'd play Westbrook on the right, and O'hare in the middle with Kelly in a 442

If he doesn’t start tracking back soon he won’t be in the squad for long Teams will have seen that at Pompey & bomb their left backs on targeting it.

You obviously know him, but Presley spoke very highly of him at Carlisle last season. A really hard worker, great around the training ground, no ‘big time’ about him. He looks just what we need, a player who can run directly from midfield, drawing the opposition players and creating opportunities for others. I thought at Bolton, that we missed a ‘Tom Bayliss’ type player who could run at the opposition and commit their defenders, which is one of the ways to get through a team that sits back.

Only thing Jobello has that Lameiras didn’t is a decent cross
Lameiras much better since he left us, but I thought he was far too lightweight/soft when he was here too.

He was, but I liked him. Always remember him getting absolutely smashed by the Sheff Utd LB under Mowbray when we were both challenging for promotion. Was as obvious a red I’ve ever seen... and he got a yellow. And they won.

I remember that - it was on tv, no idea why I wasn't at the game, but it was Jay McEverly or something like that

Just the other night against Pompey, and Bolton while we’re at it, he just looks like another player who’ll be shrugged off the ball without any real effort.

That was it! Good memory. Was definitely on TV, watched it over here. I’m pretty sure we went 1 up. And I think Billy Sharpe scored twice. Definitely got the winner.

Sounds perfect. Carlisle fans said he was Championship standard last year.

Seems to be able to play either AM in the three in the middle or the Jobello/Hiwula role if needed.

Excited for Saturday. Gutted I can’t watch the game

(Oh and: Captain America: Winter Solider > Bucky > Bucky O’Hare > Callum O’Hare)

Ahh, I did get there, but used an alternative route.

Captain America - Winter Solider - In winter sometimes planes are diverted from Chicago. Chicago's main airport is O'Hare. O'Hare - a man called Callum once caught a plane - Callum O'Hare.

Piece of piss.

Who's to say he isn't industrious. Ronaldo is industrious.

No one has said he isn’t.

If you play a 4-3-3 and one of those middle three is a CAM that isn’t expected to track back etc then the midfield will be over-run. If you play a 4-3-3 in this league the middle 3 need to work forward and back (types like Allen, Kelly, Westbrooke, Shipley). O’Hare might be able to play that role but it’s not a CAM which is apparently what he is.

Appears to be a v good signing this...according to Carlisle fans at least, to quote their forum....

"O'Hare was an absolute joy to watch. Hope he goes on and does well at Coventry, would have loved him back here for one more season."

and also...

"Good step for O’Hare. Way too good for league 2 once he found his feet.

Good attitude and mentality as well as his obvious ability, I think he’ll do well in League 1"

Sounds good to me.

That Sheffield Utd game still bugs me, we were on a long unbeaten run by that point and it wasn't long after that we had the vital Walsall and Burton home games where we only took a point and the wheels fell off the season.

Never played that in my life. I’ve played and watched football all my life though.
Okay squire

He can easily play in a 3, when all fit it's Kelly holding, Allen for the legs and Bucky attacking more
