Tough run of games that, would be happy with 8 points but think we’ll get 7. Beat Gillingham and Wimbledon, draw with Oxford and lose to Blackpool and Burton.

Weirdly I saw a stat that Blackpool have had a ridiculous amount of shots against them in their opening 4 games but have got the points... Maybe riding their luck?

All winnable for sure but would take WWDDW,don’t fear anyone in this division this year looking at the table,I think we will be in the mix all season.

H Gillingham FC
A Oxford United
H Blackpool FC
A Burton Albion
H AFC Wimbledon

Id like to see us realistically take 10 points from the next 5 matches

I think to be in with a chance of staying near the top you've got to be looking at beating Gillingham/Oxford/Wimbledon, snatching a win out of Blackpool or Burton would be fantastic, but i'd take 3 wins and a draw out of that lot right now!

Could easily end up with 7 points as opposed to 10 though, this is CCFC after all...

Why do people think highly of Burton they lost half there squad to league rivals.
They are the kind of club that always happens to and they rebuild themselves into a solid team with a clear vision of how they want to play. The 2 games they have lost have been narrow 0-1s to two of the sides relegated from the Championship. I can see the momentum of last night carrying us through the next couple of games and then it coming a little bit unstuck against Blackpool and Burton. Plus they will want to put one over on us for poaching McFadzean and Allen.

8points I see from those 5.
Easy win against Gills on Saturday. Too many bad experiences away at oxford though to see us win there. Hard fought point against a very good Blackpool side. Draw away at Burton before we do to Wimbledon what we should of done to Bolton.

Gillingham actually played very well yesterday, but they have maybe 2 players who can score so lock them out and they be clueless.

We're more than capable of winning all of them but very unlikely we will. We do have the RB problem for the next game to deal with, but also hopefully Allen will be fit for most of these which will add to our midfield. I'll go for 10 points.

After the Portsmouth result, the team must feel a great sense of belief that these next 5 games are all winnable. But we are our own worst enemies or get robbed by the refs (judging by the matches against Bolton and Portsmouth). So take it 1 game at a time and don't get complacent.

I hate these threads. Whenever we get ahead of ourselves we inevitably go on a losing run. One game at a time please :)
How can we predict the next 5? We have only played 4 and at this stage don’t really know how good those are. City have let us down countless times in the past and as much as I would like to see us take 15 points I would be happy if after Wimbledon we are still in the top 6 with a reasonable + goal difference.

I think we’ll at least get 3 wins, 2 home and an away win too.

We’ll probably draw and lose a game too.
