Pompey forum want KJ gone & tbh going 5 at the back 3-1 up at home against 9 men was pathetic management.

I don’t think their was much between us & they had home advantage.

So easy to take this forum for granted when you look at other team's forums.

Portsmouth have about 15 seperate threads on tonights catastrophe, I just want to read about their despair in one manageable space. Where is the governance?!
Lol check the forums thread I posted a picture of one of their fans saying promotion is gone ffs.

No one is gleeful when we lose. People like being right on this forum. But everyone wants us to win.

That’s the way it should be, but I’m not sure it always is. Plus, I didn’t specify losing, just when things go wrong.

I’m sure deep down 95% of fans want us to do well, but being right is more important to some.

Surely going 5 at the back vs 9 men isn’t the issue, it’s the inability to see the game out for three points from 3-1 up vs 9 men even w a 5 man defence that’s the issue.

No. They’re complaining it was negative, they wanted to go for goals. JHB is saying against 9 men and with 5 in defence you shouldn’t be conceding. I don’t really care as that point is sweet as, but there is a difference there!
There certainly is, and regardless of how negative they were they shouldn’t have conceded at the end. However, I do think Jackett shouldn’t have been so negative, especially managing a team that looks like it can score goals but leaks them as well.

Completely agree. They gave us an easy ride that last 10 or so minutes. Think they had the 1 shot on target that was straight at Marosi and a couple that went well wide and over.

Dabos red was inevitable in some game due to his style of play and, tonight's, lack of cover from Jobello.
Who's in for him against Gillingham?
Wakefield or one of the young lads I assume that or knowing robins he will push godden out wide and play baka or biamou in the middle,

In Kastaneer's defence (and I was fuming at the time when he was red carded)... It was probably just over enthusiasm. Just seen him in the photo with Godden celebrating after the pen so was clearly charged up.
They have had a private coach that Robins has used before though come in to talk to them about not having them moment take over them when the game goes against them, a booking, etc it was dreadful, it all seemed like slow motion as I watched and thought, why is he sliding from there and he left himself open for the player to make it look worse than it was.

Great point though, would have taken that all day long.

Still absolutely buzzing from that yesterday can only imagine how it felt being there fingers crossed the players can recover well for Saturday.

Oggy said last night he thought the players wouldn't do much in the way of training between now and Saturday and this early in the season with a good pre-season behind them he thought they'd be fine by the weekend.

They will train today in the afternoon and tomorrow and Friday morning, they will just be on light duties though won't be running around like a bunch of lunatics.

Just finally seen the Dabo sending off (thanks ifollow) - seeing as though the ref played advantage a lot during the game he did us a massive favour stopping the play there, looked like a great chance for them to kill the game. Also thought we were lucky to not give away a pen in the first half.

Genuinely can't see how people are saying Kastaneer's second booking was harsh. To make that tackle when already on a yellow was stupid. And Dabo's second yellow was his second or third foul after his first yellow so I think that, coupled with that it stopped a great chance for them, means we can't complain.

Other than that, great spirit. Took me back to this (is that a young Andy Thorn looking mightily pissed off at our equaliser?)

Edit: This video also reminds me that Paul Williams and Richard Shaw were bloody awful.

Of course we can complain! Dabo’s first yellow card wasn’t a yellow! I don’t understand what your point is with the fouls he committed in between his first and 2nd yellow card? The 2nd yellow is a yellow all day long, no complaint there. But it wasn’t because of an accumulation of fouls.

Yeah, I thought it was a pen too. Definitely seen them given. Mind you, I’ve also seen them not given.

The ref was strange. I saw that as a pen, Jobello get wiped out, Dabo taken out twice and also someone else, and he gives nothing. And then he gives a yellow to Dabo for jumping for the ball!
