He won’t do anything - it’s obvious the penny has dropped for Robins and he wants him gone - unless it was in his contract it was utterly bonkers to offer him a 3 year deal.

Clarke Harris, Hiwula, Bakayoko have all at some like had to play in a slightly different role in the forward 3 so he has to do as instructed

Biamou has zero mobility - he’s not going to feature much at all

Towards the end of our season in League 2 he began to be an asset but he’s not at the required standard for where we want to be.

I think you’re probably right and I can’t see him featuring much for us again. I read the article as Robins showing frustration with Biamou.

Max scores v Burnley( sorry G, but I like him and think he has a role to play for us, when he is fully fit) If Hidden picks up a knock, I'd put a fit Max up front without any concern.

Only 1 winner mate lol

Soon as Baka come on yesterday I just wanted to go home lol he’s painful to watch you just know what’s coming, don’t think he was robins signing tbh

When he jumped 5 minutes to early for a cross. Then had to duck to try and make contact, which resulted in him missing the ball completely.
Didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Was as if he thought “shit I’m meant to head this but I don’t want too so I’ll attempt to attack the ball jumping backwards” when really it shown a real lack of natural technique. He’s made no improvement since he’s been here I just want to go home when I see him coming on nothing personal but he’s garbage.

MR did an interview at the start of the season discussing Max and made comments RE him not being up to the level etc. He then threw in the injury and it sounded like he needed to get up to speed but I think it was basically implied he doesn’t fancy him at this level.

And I agree to an extent. But I would also comment that Baka also doesn’t look up to the level. Or to put it another way, I would swap both tomorrow and a bit of cash for JCH who I think is much more effective off the bench. Also think he could play in a front two with Godden if the opportunity arose.

He wasn't really "out on the left". Once again we don't play 4-4-2

Robins said he wanted Max Biamou to play on the left of the three upfront but on the inside of the fullback.

Robins felt Max Biamou stayed too wide. Must have been lost in translation.

Am I missing how everybody knows what he said to biamou before he went on? Was it in an interview?

We’ve got to remember that Robins awarded Max a 3 year contract last summer, after securing promotion.
Robins obviously thinks he can have an impact in League 1,
I simply think Max is being looked after as the club don’t want a repeat of Jodi Jones where he breaks down and is out for another 12 months.
I’d suggest we won’t see Max up to speed until Xmas at the earliest.

Yep guessing as usual. A bit like the whole Ricoh saga where apparently everyone knows everything that has been said and by whom.

Someone on twitter has put a stat that he has never scored a goal with a header

Well what else would he say? Maybe he thought he'd given clear instructions. I've done that - given what I thought were clear instructions only for someone to do something different to what I asked. Part of me thinks "are you just stupid?" but I've also got to look at why they didn't do it right.

It just doesn't make sense - why would Biamou - a centre forward who wants to be central - decide to play wider than the manager instructed him too? The only reason can be that Max misunderstood MR's instructions. If he was ignoring instructions you'd expect it to be because he was playing more centrally than MR wanted because that's how he likes to play, not wider.
Max did'nt understand MR's French!

Robins said it in the interview on CWR after the game against Bristol Rovers.

So no, not guessing as usual !

MR is not someone that I would enjoy working for. You get the impression that he goes right off people very suddenly.
TBF if Biamou never played for us again, he’d still be a legend based on his goals vs MK Dons & Notts County. FWIW I agree that he’d offer more than Baka would in a front two with Godden, if we ever get to see it.
Yeah, right up there with legends such as Regis and Dublin, Jeez!

He's a legend alright, right up there with Leigh Jenkinson.
