I seem to remember ref getting injured in one of our games at the Ricoh and Sian Massey taking over - we won the game and cheered every decision - with all this talk about female refs I thought she was from Coventry so how come she could take over - would she be classed as being bias ?

I dont ever recall Sian Massey ever being part of a match for us.
Being from Coventry I cant even see it being allowed.

I do remember or female ref (or more likely a lino) at Highfield Road in the late 90's or very early 2000's, getting tremendous abuse from the crowd (mind you, she was awful).

There's no reason why a woman can't be just as good a ref or assistant as a man.
They can run marathons so they can certainly keep up.
The only issue is training and experience, they would have to meet the exact same standards as men.
Men should also be allowed to ref or be assistants at women's matches.

I remember laughing but after the game thought she did a good job.

Best I’ve witnessed live was Mark Clattenburg (shocking!) we lost to Forest, I thought he got every decision right, even though it was to our detriment.

They are most weekends. We get asked to go as assistants on womens leagues all the time on Sundays.
