Clarke came through in the Championship, he looked ok at that level for a spell under Andy Thorn!

Not surprised. Dabo doesn't look up to it.

It’s the second game of the season mate I can’t see that being said by MR & staff about the player or them having that view I’ve only see the lad play once last week but he looked ok to me.Jordan Clarke knows this league well Robins knows the player well more experience now older & wiser wouldn’t be a bad signing in my eyes.

I'd have him back, if only to stop squeaky from banging on about how young/inexperienced we are.
Cant see in happening though, I think Pask will get his chance and grab the shirt, and hopefully that will give Jobello the confidence to shine.

Yes, I was there. The penalty he gave away was in the last few minutes or the last minute.

I'm still in fucking therapy for that game! A foggy Sunday afternoon in West Yorkshire. We were coasting that season under Pressley (despite playing in front of small crowds at Sixfields), having wiped out the 10 point administration deduction in the first 4 games (IIRC). We were romping that game, and playing some great stuff. The ridiculous handball at the end made the 3-3 draw feel like we'd been handed a 4-0 drubbing. We didn't win again until about Christmas, did we?

People go on about how bad Haynes was, but i actually rated him on his day. Another player who thrived when he left us - he was Shrewsbury's player of the year the first season after we sold him.
He went last season, and didn't make 20 league appearances for em... He's now at Newport County, hardly thrived and definitely not player of the season material.

I wanted to like Haynes, but the amount of people here saying he should be played as a winger said a lot about how good he was as a leftback.

Yeah it was definitely a turning point that season, our form tailed off from there

You must be confusing him with someone else they got rid of him after 15 starts

People on the Facebook group asking for Bigi back too.

That place needs shutting down.

Lol - I’m sure will soon see God has spoken to Bigi and has told him to return to Coventry

Clarke seems to have had injury problems and their supporters are saying he hasn't been the same since. Would need Robins to be sure he'd be able to play when required and isn't just going to take a wage while being unable to play.

They don't seem too fussed that he might be leaving which isn't a great sign.

I'd have him back if it didn't cost us much, I remember thinking he was actually alright defensively especially after his centre back stint when we started at Sixfields except for the needless personal errors (like the Bradford game) he seemed to make every other week.

As the only player to feature heavily in both the season we got relegated from the Championship and then the season we were relegated to League 2 we need Bigi back as a good luck charm if not for his outstanding midfield prowess.

Let give Dabo time. If not ask questions of Chris Balden who is paid well to look at a players technical ability and shortcomings and if I am being charitable has signed some indifferent players.

Which players are we calling indifferent? He's only been here a year, and as recruitment plans are put in place in advance I don't imagine he had a massive amount of input into last summer's targets (you'll notice Bristol Rovers were in for a lot of similar players, which is where our old head of recruitment went). Think it's too soon to judge any of his signings just yet, other than maybe Meyler & Bright (which is a small sample size).

I was calling for giving time on Balden. Myler is a good example, but some of the recruits into the u23s spring to mind. Jury's out for sure and let's judge him after the window in January.
