Jheez what’s this love in with Biamou all about? The blokes scored a goal against league 2 opposition in a pre-season friendly and all of a sudden he’s a 15 goal a season man. Let’s be real here we need a decent striker to get anywhere near the play offs.Keep him fit I believe he will get 15 goals if not more.

Once Max hit form in league 2, he probably wasn't far off that ratio. He's been on decent form during pre-season despite not playing that many minutes with the first team. Needs to work his way back so patience is required, he shouldn't be started yet.
Agree we need another striker but I wouldn't write Max off from having an impact on this season.

Never said he wouldn’t have an impact, but let’s not let this love for Biamou blind us to the fact that the likelihood is he would be lucky to get over 10 goals this season. He’s an impact sub at best imo

My notes from the game:
Jobello looks a real prospect, was surprised and impressed with his work rate. He should do well.
Allen looks neat.
Rose looks good and that was some block.
Marosi had a good game bar a few errant kicks.
Dabo will get targeted with long balls. Did well with the ball on the ground, he won a few balls he lost out on back.
Baka did well for his goal, won some balls back strongly and put himself about. But that miss was a stinker. I do worry finishing doesn't come naturally for him

Sorry to pee on a few bonfires here, but Baka despite hid GH oal was poor. Jobello was less effective with a tighter defender. The middle withoit Kelly was too weak and we were susceptible far too often to a simple ball over the top. It is pre sesdon but ive sern them a few times now and we do look a little short. A first full 11 will be ok, but i worry a bit about depth. A sprinkling of quality like Btight would make all the difference.

We are short up front and need a player or two. That wouldn't have changed if we didn't score or if our strikers put five away.
