On the basis they are trying to develop him as a potential first team player for them rather than just extending his contract to increase his transfer value I would presume they want him to play at as high a level as possible. So the question will be will he get the game time at a Championship club. The fact that he's so highly rated by Robins and we put in a decent bid for him will make it clear if he comes to us he will be playing.

If you assess what the Wolves boss said he would be looking for him to play in the championship. Whether championship clubs see him as we do is a different matter.

I don't see it as good for us that he's available for loan, that's 2 periods where we can get screwed over.
Now as he may end up somewhere else on loan like Sunderland or a team in the championship.
Then even if he came and had a good season a bigger club could come in at the end of the season.
I think this whole bright saga is over for us now sadly, the only way we could have got him was if they accepted the 600k, which they obviously haven't

The thing is, whilst everybody raves about him and he does look impressive, he'd have to be far more disciplined in the Championship. I don't see many Championship sides taking a gamble on him or giving him the kind of licence he had here.

MR knows how to set the team up to play with him! thats pivotal on his performces in my Honest Opinion. Otherwise he will be just an good ordinary players at other clubs. By the Time Jack Ross changes scumberland to accomodate his style they will have lost a lot of points

He isn’t disciplined enough for L1 and potentially not consistent enough either, so I don’t think he’d get as much guaranteed playing time.
MR would build the team around him here and give him his favoured free role.
From Wolves perspective it would be more beneficial for his development to be playing for a promotion chasing footballing side in L1, than a relegation battling Championship team. The mental side is just as important for his development.

Unless it is a loan until January, where upon, due to performances, his value increases, I don’t see what Wolves get from loaning him out. His value is in reality is likely to be less in January than it is now, as there will only be months left on his contract. Surely their best plan is either to get him to sign a longer deal or sell him now?

I don't think contracts generally have a rolling 1 year extension in them. The once they've done it already is probably the only time they can do it.

I think we would be the first League 1 choice, but Barnsley are the real threat. While other Championship teams would be gambling that Bright would fit their system.
Barnsley already have Thomas and Chaplin, they are getting the band back together.
